We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months. Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

Great spot - quiet, secluded and felt like we had our own slice of the countryside for the weekend. Julian was a friendly host and we really appreciated hearing the story of the farm. Also highly rate the local produce including great steaks and some local cider. We would come back and recommend to others!

1 night at Stowford Manor Farm Campsite

Had a lovely stay over may bank holiday. A warm welcome from the owners and staff, nice areas to pitch right next to the river. We also enjoyed cream teas in the garden and bought the bbq pack and breakfast pack which were delicious. Lovely ducks and chicken and a lovely walk along the river. Nice cider too . Clean and tidy toilets and shower blocks with plenty of hot water. Overall a lovely place to visit and will definitely book again soon.

Wookey Farm was an absolute delight! We visited on a sunny April day and it was so peaceful, with the sounds of birds and farm animals all around us. The land is beautifully maintained and everything was very clean. Such a relaxing escape, would highly recommend! And the goats were incredibly friendly, which made it even more special 🐐💛

Just what you need flat field to pitch Clean showers with plenty of room to change in aswell lovely food truck in morning sausage roll was delicious you can tell the really food. Just returned from an outstanding stay at Wookey Farm campsite. The grass pitch we booked could not of been better spacious, level, incredible views, its own fire pit area tucked away but adjoining the pitch. Loos were great best kept composting toilets if seen. Quiet yet relaxed site decent farm shop and great walks. We will be back need to try out the communal wood fired oven next time 👍

Easy check in and check out, friendly owners. Produce and cider available to buy. Great location with close proximity to Bath (c25mins drive), Bruton, Frome and Trowbridge all nearby. Good shower and toilet facilities. Level pitches. Nice to have the river nearby.

Such a great campsite with gorgeous views and super quiet with different options to set up pitch with or without vehicle. Toilets were clean and warm showers. Farm shop was a little walk through the woods so you don’t get the hustle and bustle from that at all but still have access to food/drink by foot although the site is very near local shops by car too. Lovely little walk marked out too to wander around the farm. Staff at the shop & check in were super friendly and helpful, we felt really welcomed!!
