A small family run campsite located on the famous ice cream farm, Roskilly’s. On the Lizard in South West Cornwall, the farm is remote and tucked away with a Cornish feel, yet there is plenty to do. The farm has a vast array of animals that you can feed, a large woodland and ponds walk where the cows may be grazing. There are also many stunning beaches and Cornish fishing villages a small walk or drive away. We have a restaurant offering lovely food all day from breakfast to dinner. During the summer season there is also live music performed by local bands on selected evenings. Our campsite offers large grass pitches for tents and camper vans as well as a pristine toilet and shower block and communal area.

A very spacious campsite with well-maintained composting facilities. The scenic drive down to the site is beautiful, and the clear night skies make it perfect for stargazing. Martins and owls were active both day and night, adding to the atmosphere. On some alternate nights, music played nearby from around 10 pm to 4 am. While noticeable, it was at a consistent and tolerable volume, and importantly, it wasn’t accompanied by disruptive behaviour.

Just returned home from a lovely week at Roskilly’s, and we had a great time! Lovely site with good facilities, the staff really helpful as well. The restaurant/ice cream shop across the road makes it me, the food is lovely and the entertainment in the evening is varied and really good.

Really easy site to find - nice flat field - great clean loos and showers - kettle, fridge and toaster in communal area - fab cafe just over the road - best chicken shawarma I’ve ever had - fabulous ice cream, goes without saying - lovely coast walks right on the door step 💕

What a beautiful spot. Very relaxed, child friendly and fun. They’ve created the perfect balance between being in nature and having the mod cons that make camping easy - like hot showers and a kettle. We’ll definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Roskilly Camping

So it’s fair to say that as adults with no kids we probably should have realised how busy the site would be and how many children would be there! That said the campsite itself is well laid out and the facilities are lovely and clean, there was some queuing for toilets and showers due to the numbers on site, so best to use before rush hour! We had an amazing meal at the restaurant and pre ordered the chefs special which did not disappoint! Staff were great! Very attentive and the local band performing had us all up and dancing the night away! Location wise you have easy access to the SW Coastal path and we had a great walk into the village of Coverack. So all in all a great stay and we will certainly go back, even if just for the food ❤️ but not till the kids are back at school 🤣 👍

We camped during the week and on the Saturday. It had clean facilities and it was nice and peaceful during the week, but on the Friday night, it got slightly busier and others pitched their tents a little too close to ours (even when there was plenty of space in the middle) and were not told to move. I was woken up early by the sound of them hitting the shuttlecock (not even by them talking) that’s how close they were!

We stayed as a family of 5 for 4 nights! was a truly beautiful location and run by a lovely family. we were able to hire the camp fire with wood. and my girls really enjoy seeing the sheep on the farm. The amenities are excellent also for camping. nicest I've come across. The sunsets are beautiful and the clear night sky is great for star gazing. I also recommend driving to Totnes which was about 20/30ish min drive. and obviously Torquay isn't far. Otherwise enjoy some lovely walks around the camp site which are also mapped out by the outdoor type kitchen area! And they have a fridge/freezer you can use! We absolutely miss this place already and will definitely return! Thank you so much. x

Weekend Trip to Snelling Farm Campsite

Any campsite is as good as the people who greet and help you to enjoy your stay, this place is great. Good quality clean and accessible facilities set in a large field ensuring you are never too close to anyone else allowing you to soak up the peaceful natural setting. We had good weather for our stay but I don’t think a change in weather would have dampened our stay. Would recommend this place for a visit, especially if you’re looking for a very quite location to spend your evening after exploring the local Dorset attractions

Great spot. Lovely shower - better than home! Kettle and Toaster were a bonus for two bikepacking visitors. Toilets and showers very clean and campsite perfect. Proximity to the Roskilly restaurant was a bonus.
