This historic riverside town is home to one of the finest bridge crossings on the river, linking the popular Thames Path, and there's also a heated splashpark for those who fancy getting wet without swimming in the river itself. Once the home of Agatha Christie, its a popular camping spot with literary aficionados, too, while the surrounding countryside offers ample attractions besides.
