We had a really lovely stay in the Bustard Hut. It was peaceful, quaint, and beautifully designed. The interior was unique and thoughtfully put together, and the hut had great facilities considering its limited kitchen space.
The little touches like the marshmallows, bread, and condiments were very much appreciated.
The only downsides were that the hut wasn’t quite as private as it appeared in the pictures, as we could see and be seen by the neighbouring hut from the hot tub, which wasn’t quite what we imagined. Also, there weren’t any trolleys available on arrival, so there was a lot of back and forth with bags since you can’t park next to the hut.
A few things that would be useful to have are some barbecue tools and maybe a fire mitt, as we had to use kitchen utensils to manage the fire. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the thoughtful touches throughout.

If the allure of a secluded cabin, nestled deep within the countryside is too difficult to resist, then this cabin will offer a much-needed escape, blending the peacefulness of nature with the comforts of contemporary amenities.
Communication from the host outlined, step by step, everything we needed to know about the cabin, the check-in/out process, and the surrounding area. This also included directions to the cabin, advice on the best local amenities, and tips for maximising enjoyment of both the accommodation and its natural setting.
There is a designated parking area, and from there, a bit of a walk is required to reach the cabin itself. Far from being an inconvenience, this walk was the prelude to a gradual immersion in the natural environment.
While the presence of livestock, contributes to the rural charm, guests with dogs should take note, there’s a need for vigilance and respect for these resident animals.
The tranquil setting created a retreat that was both restorative and invigorating. Whether you are an adventurer at heart or simply in need of calm, this cabin offers a unique and memorable escape.

3 nights at Fernwood Glamping (New Forest)
The Shepherds hut was so cosy and magical, Rachel welcomed us so well and it felt immediately like home. There was plenty to do in the area around with walks and maps provided. Weekend Trip to The Burrow at Little Buckholt
We really enjoyed our stay – it was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by a beautiful view. We were positively surprised by the thoughtful little touches, like a fully charged power bank ready for use and the convenient buggy transport from the car park to the hut. The host was very easy to reach and responsive, which made everything smooth. The design of the hut was truly impressive – everything was cleverly arranged to make the most of the small space without feeling cramped. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

We came for a family birthday getaway at the end of Feb. The hut is private but there is a two person hut reasonably nearby. The Shephards hut has everything you need outside and in, regardless of weather. We had moments eating out in the sun, then a brief hail shower and rainbow in the hot tub. One night was so clear we spent the evening star gazing from the hot tub. There is a farm and wild bird sanctuary nearby so an abundance of wild life throughout the day. Kites, peacocks, buzzards, peasants, deer etc. We did several local walks but the best for the kids was the farm > wood walk, which had a hidden wood swing too. The hosts were quick to help when we needed it and the location was very picturesque. It was a perfect birthday escape. We'd love to come back and see it in the summer!

Weekend Trip to Cholderton Estate, near Stonehenge
We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Lapwing Hut. The hut was cosy, clean and well heated so we were very comfy for our whole stay. All the facilities worked well, including the hot tub. We had a lovely stay on Susannah's land, a relaxing city break, we saw muntjac deer, birds of prey, wild rabbits! We loved bubbling away in the hot tub overlooking wintery scenes.
