1 night at Spring Field Dark Skies Eco Camp

A fantastic place to camp. The facilities were great the welcome was lovely and the views amazing. Will definitely be back for a longer stay. Linda and hubby were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and modern. The directions were clear and easy to follow. We enjoyed the fire pit and listening to the owls late into the evening. Will recommend to anyone looking to visit the area, and the eggs were delicious too.

What a gorgeous place! The perfect place for a calm refuge to reset and re-enter life restored. Lovely kind hosts, beautiful views and walks straight from the roundhouse enjoyed by us and our cat Blue. Absolutely magical. We loved this site, its overall size and simple spotless facilities, no fuss booking and check in, great location, gorgeous views, and a mud free level pitch despite the gails and rain we brought with us! Darren and Diana were fab, great communication, excellent care of the site and they even lent us a pair of grips when we found our gas tank valve has seized up and we couldn’t open it by hand. Hospitable hosts and a lovely site. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

These are the only 3 pitches on our tent camping fields which you can park one car next to.

Cardewlees is an absolute little gem of a campsite and Johnny could not have been a better host if he tried. I can’t adequately express how wonderful our stay with Callie and Gwyn was. The camping meadow was serene with picturesque views of the sea and surrounding hills. The camping amenities such as toilets and showers were immaculately clean and which was welcome after a long day of hiking. There is also a bonus of a converted barn with fridge/freezer, games, and shelter from rain if needed. Perhaps most notable about this stay were the fantastic chats we had with the hosts who were keen to share their love for the local area with handy tips and hints. This will be perhaps the first campsite we definitely will return to. Thank you both for such a fantastic stay, we can’t wait to return!
