Weekend Trip to Bent Apple Farm
My wife and planned this as a winter get away and we had an amazing time. The cabin/tree house was very quant, well taken care of and you can tell the love and caring they put into this.
The snow was glorious and the snowshoeing in the fields and trails right out the door was perfect.
Loana was incredibly helpful and responsive. The night we arrived they got about 7-8” of snow. They called their plow guy and it was taken care of.
We will be returning next winter, for a blissful, relaxing and romantic trip.

This is a gorgeous cabin, thoughtfully furnished and in a beautiful location. The hosts were kind and communicative. The only downside to my stay was that the pellet stove was placed on such a setting that it produced extended noise at regular intervals. This was no issue at all during the day but ruined our sleep the first night, despite our use of earplugs and a white noise machine. The second night, we decided to turn off the stove, which was fine because it wasn't too cold outside (around freezing). I would not recommend staying here if it's so cold that you need the stove at night, but I recommend staying here any other time.

Beautiful private site surrounded by trees. My kids loved the tent, the little play area, the animals, the trampoline. Pretty much all of it! We slept quite well. There is a lumberyard nearby that produces a low constant hum. I got used to it but just fyi that it's not complete silence. The toilet is tucked into the trees with a privacy screen.

I loved staying in the treehouse! Very cute and spacious. The staff was really nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the communal area, used their grill (chimney starter provided, yay!) There was also a really friendly tabby kitty that kept hanging around us which made me super happy.
Just some things to note for other people to be prepared, since the treehouse is not insulated it can get noisy. It was windy our first night, with things falling on the metal roof and metal staircase is creaky so bring earplugs. It's a little drafty. We didn't have any issue with mosquitoes though. The roof overhangs a lot in front of the doorway, so tall people beware! They do provide carts to bring your stuff but it is all downhill to the treehouse (to varying degrees) and sometimes rocky so it's still not the easiest task, not to mention going back up so be mindful of how much you're packing! If I were to do it over I'd pack less and carry the weight in my backpack. Still, I would not hesitate to go back! Hopefully for longer next time. I imagine it would be pretty in the fall with the leaves changing all around 😊

My wife and I stayed in the Beaverpond and Sugarmaple treehouses. Both are fantastic.
The location is right in the middle of a lot of fun VT attractions (swimming holes, hiking, MTB/cycling.) Time on the property is time well spent, too. Our dog loved running around in the woods.
Derek is a super cool dude and made sure that we were well set up for our time there.

This spot is definitely hidden little gem. It's like camping without all the gear! I really enjoyed the private aspect of this glamping experience, unlike most places I've camped which are surrounded by other people. The views were beautiful, the star gazing was perfection and having a fire pit with seating and a table and chairs was a really nice touch. All you really need is your bedding, some lighting and your adventurous spirit! The area is great for exploring and so many great swimming spots. It's was the perfect romantic getaway that my partner and I needed. We will definitely be back!
