Baker Rocks

An amazing stay at a beautiful property! It was a little hard to find- when I clicked the directions option on the booking, it took me to two different places that were both incorrect. The address for the campground is 262 depot street, and the campground map is difficult to find- doesn’t seem to be on the Hipcamp site. Our friends booked the river run site so we were able to take over the whole area, and our dogs could run around and play which was great! Very private and secluded, though it might have felt too close if people at the adjoining site (river run) were strangers. We will definitely be back, so many cool and different options for lodging!!

The property is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains from anywhere you are. We stayed at River run tent site and LOVED it. The tenting, bathhouse and air bb sites are all so well maintained and cute. We loved that it was so spaced out between sites, making it feel private and more immersed in the beautiful NH mountains. Public beach available to guests that’s right on the river. The little reception cabin had anything you might need and availability to buy wood bundles at anytime. We will definitely be back!

I loved staying at Amanda’s campsite! It is absolutely lovely with a nice view of the little mountain nearby and the river. The fire pit is super nice and there are chairs provided, as well as a whole picnic table! It’s easy to get to and I liked that I could pull my car into the site for easy unloading. Amanda was wicked accommodating and helpful. We actually had to come back a different night due to a fire ban and we were super thankful Amanda was flexible and allowed us to change our reservation. 10/10 would recommend! Also, the bathroom was awesome. Super clean and the shower was warm!!! You can’t get better for a price like this.

We loved Baker's Rock. We booked Into the Woods for a weekend with a couple of friends and we had a wonderful time disconnecting from the world. Bathrooms and showers were close by and clean. Amanda is extremely accommodating and welcoming! We plan to come back again next year to check out another Baker's Rock sites.

Beautiful place to camp in NH

Baker Rocks was blissful. I will definitely stay there again. So much love and care has been put into this stunning property with everything you could need in their little store from Firewood to bug spray. Only recommendations is to improve the shower system as there was no hot water even during the day. But as I see showers as a "pampered plus" when camping, it was no big deal. Absolutely love! Check out the Last Chair Brewery just up the road for a bite to eat.

The sites were well spaced out with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The open field near the campsite had spectacular stargazing views as well. The site and bathroom facilities were clean and Amanda was responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Baker Rocks offers a unique camping experience with a really interesting mix of options. The tent site is just a few steps into the woods—a very quiet and peaceful spot next to the river. In the other direction it’s a short walk across the meadow to the bath house. Nice combination of comfort and privacy.

Gorgeous spot! We had a little private oasis offshoot. Perfect location. Had a huge tent, 2 hammocks, 2 tables, and 4 humans and 3 non-humans. Clean location - loved being closer to the bathroom/showers/sink - which were amazing! Spent time at the river beach. Had a blast! Thanks!

Great little spot—emphasis on little. The into the woods spot was pretty tight for our Subaru Ascent. I would not recommend this site for anyone with a larger vehicle. Lots of scratches to buff out when we got home! The bathhouse was awesome, but ran out of water while we were there. Not ideal. But man, oh man, would this be the MOST perfect location for stargazing. Overall, a very good experience with just a few hiccups. Would stay again—but maybe in one of the glamping options, which looked amazing!

It was so perfect. The sites were extremely private away from everybody. The store was the honor system. And there was no one to check in with. So for people just wanting to get away and not even see other people. It is possible on this property. The picnic tables are very nice. But they are plastic, so don’t put your hot things on them as I saw that people had done in the past. 😉. The community bathrooms were very clean. Not a single complaint.

Wonderful Stay at Baker Rocks!

Baker Rocks one of the best campsites I've ever stayed at! The site is well-maintained, with clean facilities, spacious pitches, and plenty of privacy between sites. I camped here with my wife, brother and sister an law as well as our pet dog! We really enjoyed the beach area near the river, which included chairs and tubes that the campsite provided. What really sets Baker Rocks apart is the atmosphere: peaceful, remote enough to feel like a true getaway, but still accessible. We left feeling recharged and already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature in a truly special place. Thank you so much for a wonderful camping experience!

Amanda is such a great host! Loved the 24hour store - so convenient and helpful - got several firewood bundles! We tent camped and welcomed the very clean bathrooms and showers. Many lodging options to try out on the property - tent camping, treehouse, and even yurts! Woods and a river for taking a cool dip!

Amazing spot! It was so secluded and the stars at night were amazing! We stayed in the Serenity Dome which was a perfect distance to the bathroom and overlooked a beautiful grass field. It had everything we needed and we will definitely be coming back.

Camping the way it should be!

We loved camping at Baker Rocks. Our site was called Into The Woods and that is exactly how it felt. We were able to enjoy a very private camping experience as a family. Our girls kept saying much they enjoyed the site and the experience. Plan to return!

Fantastic place and greathost. Lots of different choices for accommodation from tent camping to tree house to cabins. Very private. Great location close to beautiful hiking trails. We loved our stay and planning to come back.

Stayed at River Run which was phenomenal. Was able to jump straight into the cool waters on a very hot summer day. Amenities were great. Bathhouse was clean and easy to access. The site itself was a lil tricky to find but once I got my barring it felt right at home. Curious if there was a common space with A/C, but never really dug around

We had a wonderful secluded weekend. Everything was clean and pristene. We would absolutely stay again. Check in was easy. The treehouse was cozy..huge...and a luxurious stay. We definitly made some fabulous memories. Oh and the river was absolutly refreshing. Thank you so much to the hosts.

We took our RV to Amanda’s Property at the end of October, and pretty much had the place to ourselves! Our campsite was beautiful, overlooking the river and mountains. Took a walk to “the beach” and tried some fishing. Such a nice relaxing time, on a beautiful & quiet piece of land.

What an incredible and relaxing week at Baker Rocks. We initially booked 3 nights at the Pine Grove site, but decided to stay one more night because we were enjoying the grounds so much. Amanda was so accomodating, her attention to detail making each site and lodging unique, didn't go unnoticed. The bathrooms were fantastic, very well thought out. The grounds, gorgeous; the views, stunning; the beach and river, beautifully relaxing. This was our first time taking our current 3 dogs camping, I think they enjoyed themselves more than my husband and I. We are already planning our next 2 trips to Baker Rocks. I highly recommend Baker Rocks for an unplugged and off grid experience.

Amazing campsite! Everything was incredibly curated, with sites that feel private but still convenient to shared amenities. Toilets and showers were by far the best we've experienced at a campground - a perfect blend of rustic and modern. It is on a river, so bring bug spray!
