Weekend Trip to Chrome Hill campers

We had a great time at Chrome Hill Campers - it had a really relaxing vibe and the views were amazing. Just perfect to wake up to. It was a small site but it has everything you need. The toilet/shower block was spotless as was the separate washing up area. Would definitely come back!

3 nights at Over-the-Moon Luxury Shepherds Hut

Have already recommended this place to friends. We had a lovely stay in the sunshine. The hut is has everything you need in a compact but unsquashy space. Enjoyed some fine walks and a super day out in Ruthin. We'd also recommend the Red Lion for a visit. Ruth & Jude were both very helpful and welcoming. I'm sure we'll come back.

Weekend Trip to Primrose Cottage Camping

Lovely spot with nice views. Toilet blocks were spotlessly clean. There were a few other campers there, but the site was very peaceful and quiet. Few pubs and small shops within easy walking distance. Helpful communications from Laura. Would recommend a stay here if you want to get away from it all.

Weekend Trip to Over-the-Moon Luxury Shepherds Hut

I had a wonderful stay in this charming shepherd’s hut nestled in a peaceful meadow. The hut was beautifully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and cozy getaway. The surrounding area was lovely, with fruit to pick and plenty of space for the dogs, who absolutely loved it! The hosts were fabulous—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this little gem for a relaxing countryside retreat.

2 nights at Eden's Nook

This was such a quiet, lovely location! It was near to one of the access points for Glyndwr’s Way so we were able to hike a nice section of the trail. Clean facilities and super easy to find with responsive, friendly hosts - a good spot to unwind! The field for tent pitches was enclosed and we actually had the place to ourselves so our dogs could wander without worry - really enjoyed our stay here.

1 night at Eden's Nook

A fairly small camp ground with a beautiful big barn containing couches, TV, table, fridge, water and home like showers and toilets. Outside the barn there was a picnic table and a hut further along with a fire place that you could sit around and cook food. I did get a bit lost on my way there but the hosts were able to sort me out. When I did arrive they showed me around the place and explained where everything was and how it all worked. I shared the camp ground with only one other person and had a very pleasant time, so maybe consider booking during the quieter times of the week.

2 nights at Dan Y Ser Glamping Under The Stars

I stayed for 2 nights in my camper with my dog. I was so lucky to have this site all to myself on the first night, and was treated to the most beautiful sunset across the wild flower field. Loved the eco-friendly toilet and shower set up, and Jessamy was super fast to check in and provide information, and to come to my rescue after managing to dislodge the shower! A really lovely spot, perfectly located for visiting Hafren Forest and a stones throw from the lovely town of Llanidloes.

I had the most wonderful, relaxing stay at the campsite . The welcome was amazing with nothing being too much trouble . Advice on walks and even the offer of some shaped wood as a leveller as I had forgotten mine. I shall certainly be back ! The views were stunning

Beautiful campsite with wonderful views. Wild flower meadow lovely. Limited pitches mean you feel alone. There are no bins.

3 nights at Newcourt Farm Campsite

The views are amazing and I got to see the ewes and the baby lambs in the next field. It wasn't busy and was easy to find.

Great value for money, a simple but peaceful site! Facilities were great for price although hot water in the washing area would have been appreciated! Would come back if we’re ever in the area.

Amazing place, very peaceful and very beautiful, the surroundings are idyllic, amazing pitch, right next to the river, lovely to swim in, and the fire pits are an added bonus, you cannot go wrong with this site, and the host is lovely, makes you feel more than welcome, we will definitely be back, Antony and Lou

We loved staying at Cwmffrwd farm so much in 2024 that we came back in 2025! Such a peaceful site and thanks for being such a lovely host Pridie. Extra bonus is the new Sauna that we didn't realise was on site this year - such a treat!

Lovely quiet site. Numerous local walks, through wooded areas, canal side and quiet roads. Enjoyed a circular walk to White Coppice. Fire pits and wood available.
