1 night at Cotswolds Camping at Holycombe

Good for small groups, more ideal for couples, and solo travellers. Great surroundings, wild life, n'such. Still in two minds about the bell. All round a bargin. Would be happy and intend on returning at a later date.

We had a brilliant weekend at Fourwinds Campsite in March, PE15. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The site is well-maintained, peaceful, and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. A special shoutout goes to Andy, the site warden, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and his local knowledge and friendly nature really added a personal touch to the experience. The pitches were spacious and well laid out, with plenty of room for our tent and gear. Facilities were spotless and regularly cleaned, with excellent showers and toilets. It’s clear the owners take great pride in the site, and it really shows. One of the highlights for us was the beautiful setting—surrounded by open countryside and just a short walk from the river. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking for a quiet escape. The location is also ideal for exploring the Fens and nearby attractions. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience in Cambridgeshire!

A another perfect stay. Went to Four Winds last year for the Easter weekend. And again this year. Both years the weather has been a challenge. But the warm welcome, fantastic service, and amazing facilities make up for any rainy weather. Had pizza on Friday night, highly recommend you do the same. Please visit Four Winds, you will not regret your stay.

3 nights at Four Winds Camping and Canoeing

Such a lovely site. Very tranquil. We biked along the river into town which takes around 15 minutes. The facilities are clean and the kiosk/shop is a real bonus. The private launch straight onto the river was amazing for paddleboarding. We can't wait to come back.

2 nights at Daisy May’s Farm

It was great. A bit run down but the animals were happy and cared for. Very friendly staff and the kids loved the place. We camped in our motorhome so were self contained. I wouldn't have liked to have to use the shower. Bring plenty of changes of clothes if your children like playing in water like our grandchildren did. They had lots of fun playing in the stream.

A lovely campsite with good facilities, however the church bells in the local village ring during the night, there are earplugs available at the campsite but just be mindful if you are a light sleeper

Weekend Trip to Hunstanton Camping & Glamping

Close to beach. Next to the Norfolk Coastal walk. Nigel met us on arrival. Introduced to the dogs and chickens (and spotted a fluffy cat). We loved the relaxed air of the camp field but everything looks like it’s in a state of building or maintenance! Which, to be fair Nigel said they were renovating the barn to accommodate more indoor campers. We had ‘camper van with awning’ as we brought our own bell tent, there were more of this type, one shepherds hut in the same field and at least three other shepherds huts secluded behind the barn. There is the potential for four washing up sinks - only one had water working. Toilet block with three male, three female loos and hand washing. Two showers - also in this block. Side of the barn was also showers and single toilets with two stand alone basins outside. Water points everywhere. We used electric hook up which was good and consistent. WiFi was also working where we were, only used it for the radio though. Some hard standing was a bit dubious with the hard core having glass and pottery mixed in. We brought bicycles and really had to watch where we pushed them. Overall, loved the rustic camp ground, would hope the hard standing would be sorted out soon. Would recommend.

Weekend Trip to Deerstone Glamping

Me and my boyfriend spent two beautiful nights here in the domes. Katrin is simply wonderful super helpful and just a phone call away if you need anything. The dome was just perfect, beautifully clean and came with everything you could need to make the weekend perfect. The cinema dome was fantastic we used it two nights. The showers and toilets were so clean and had shampoo conditioner shower gel toothpaste and deodorant. The heater in the shower was perfect for the cold mornings. The hot tub was fantastic super clean and got really hot, we struggled the second night to get the fire going for the hot tub but with just a text message to katrin she was there sorting it for us with her beautiful little dog woody who came to say hello. There were two heaters inside the dome to keep you warm, also in the chest at the bottom of the bed there were cups, cutlery, mini table, fire starter, pans, bbq utensils, and much more to make your stay homely. The breathtaking views from the domes are just magnificent. 100% will be returning to the site with the kids and the dog. We can’t wait to come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Between the venue and the beach, you will find the entrance to a public footpath that takes you to Snettisham, a smaller and history-rich village through scenic rural countryside. It is also possible to walk to Hunstanton in the opposite direction along the promenade whilst enjoying the sea air and open views. We are a rural former dairy farm by the beach, there are free-ranging chickens and cockerels and they may make farmyard sounds, if you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs :) GLAMPERS PLEASE NOTE The Glamping Kitchenette is suitable for making small quick meals with the use of a microwave, oven & stove for cooking and grilling and a toaster and kettle, there is also a fridge provided. Showers and toilets are shared with the campsite with the exception of gas powered outside showers that are solely for glampers. We are a VERY dog-friendly venue, we welcome dogs and muddy boots and host many hikers and explorers of the Norfolk Coast, although every care has been taken to ensure very clean accommodation, it is possible that a dog hair or 2 escapes our conscientious eye, please bear this in mind and let us know should you find anything you are not happy with, we will get our housekeeping team to deal with the issue swiftly! Please note that the Glamping Bell Tents and Glamping Shepherds Huts are for 2 adults only with the exception of 1 Adult and 1 Child with prior consent from us, they are not suitable for under 2's and do not come with facilities for children or babies.
