While the facilities are basic they are perfect as a base for exploring a truly picturesque part of Kent. We had an amazing time and really loved being able to bring our puppy along for the holiday!

We camped in a lovely field, with amazing facilities. Clean showers with plentiful hot water, clean toilets and a washing up area. We had an electric pitch right on the edge of the fields with lovely views of the sunset. It wasn't very busy during our stay, so was very peaceful. Close to some great restaurants which were very child-friendly.
We paid extra for a campfire each night, but unfortunately, due to the strong winds on our 2nd night, we thought it would be safer to not use this! The campsite manager covered it for us to prevent it getting wet in any case.
Lovely place, would definitely stay here again!

Great campsite, lots of people around but not too busy. Charging area and freezer really useful. Clean toilets and well maintained. The showers were lovely. Peaceful location, beautiful countryside and lots of wildlife sounds after dark. The Broads close by and beach around half an hour away.

Really good visit with everything that we needed. Very clean showers and basins. Great to be able to plug in phones to charge and freeze ice blocks in the communal area. Wheel barrows to transport your belongings from vehicle to pitch - really well though out. Bernie is very welcoming and a really great campsite.

We've just spent the most wonderful three days at The Old Vicarage Campsite, and we’re already planning our next visit. This place is a hidden gem – so peaceful, spacious, and beautifully laid-back.
There’s plenty of room for kids to run free and explore safely, which made the whole stay feel relaxed and easy. The campfires in the evening were a real highlight – toasting marshmallows as the sun went down made for perfect family memories.
The facilities are great too – the showers were lovely and warm, and the compost loos were clean and well looked after. Everything about this site feels thoughtful and natural, without losing comfort.
If you're looking for a traditional camping experience with all the right touches and a lovely welcoming feel, we couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you, Old Vicarage – we loved every minute!

Our stay at Graham's cabin was great.
As advertised, the cabin does not have bedding, so bring your own!
The cabin was basic but enough for a good night's sleep.
The facilities were good.
While the logistics of getting booked in are a little complicated, Graham was incredibly caring in ensuring we found our way to the cabin at night. He went the 'extra mile' to ensure we would have a good stay. It all worked fine.
The location is great. Right on the river, next to the lock. And a great little canteen serving lovely food with outdoor seating.
I recommended this as a good cheap place to stay.

Great spot to go camping with kids. Nice flat surface, friendly owners, peaceful place to relax , if we visit Norfolk area again , we will come back to 7 Ducks 🙂

Lovely place. Quiet, clean facilities and good signage. Shower hot. Space to wash up plates and drinking water available. Short walk to garden centre and great view of fields and sunset. Handy wheelbarrows to transport baggage. Would stay again especially for such a good price.

Lovely little campsite in easy reach of lots of tourist attractions and great beaches being just a few minutes from the A47. The facilities are basic but well thought out and we never felt like there was anything lacking. I’d definitely recommend the Old Vicarage for people who like a back to basics camping experience in a nice secluded rural setting.

Clean, easy to get too and quiet. The complete opposite from our home in the city!

Excellent campsite, super flat with views as far as the eye can see in a peaceful area. Potential sunset and sunrise with the right weather.
Super friendly family who make you feel extremely welcome and very helpful.

There are plenty of good campsites nearby and, while the coast itself is pocked by a few large caravan parks, there are plenty of smaller, independent campsites within easy reach of Southwold town and waterfront.
