All Rosehip Wood’s pitches are family friendly and allow BBQs and campfires.
Your hosts invite you to wander along mown paths, through grassy clearings and wildflowers. The woodland has been planted with lots of nuts and fruits for both wildlife and humans to enjoy. As the sun sets, unwind, and enjoy starlit skies unspoilt by light pollution against the distant calls and barks of local wildlife.
The site has no lighting so don’t forget your torch if you plan on an evening amble. Downham Market is around 4 ½ miles away offering supermarkets, a market, food and drink in the town’s historic pubs and a range of restaurants. It also has a train station from which your hosts will be happy to pick you up if you are coming camping without a car. If you need an extra tent this can be rented at an extra cost.

Each of the safari lodges sleep two to six people and have their own and shower facilities - perfect for families. You'll find comfy beds, a toasty wood burner (for cooking and heating)y and everything else necessary for your stay, right down to the cutlery and utensils.
Lodges have power so you can still enjoy all your home creature comforts. There is also a sundeck outside to relax and enjoy the countryside views.
The well-known Drove Orchards Rural Market is just a few minutes walk from camp with a farm shop, fishmongers, Yurt restaurant, Eric's Fish and Chip restaurant, artisan shops, cycle hire and an ice cream parlour.
The lovely North Norfolk coastal village of Thornham is just a 15 minute walk with the Lifeboat Inn and the Orange Tree. The well known Thornham Deli offers a restaurant and deli counter, perfect for planning a picnic.
There are two sets of four lodges and a set of three lodges, all by themselves, which are perfect for larger groups of 12-18 guests. All lodges are well spaced.
Thornham is within the Norfolk's coast 'Golden Triangle' with adjacent villages such as Brancaster, Burnham Market, Holkham, Sandringham and Old Hunstanton popular places to visit.

I have nothing but good tbings to say about campung at hipcamp. The people running the camp were great; helpful and friendly. The fascilies were more than what anyone would need and maticulously cleaned every day.
The surroumding area is a treat too with loads to see and do, for adults and kids alike.
Be back soon but will he going for one of the other great looking accomodations they have on offer for a change.

Archer’s Field sits in a beautiful place close to both coast and countryside offering access to lots of activities. The pitches are large, and campers are free to choose where they camp. I loved being able to walk directly from the campsite (along the Weavers Way) and on to the Blickling Estate.

We camped for 5 nights at Archer’s and it was just what we needed. The field is surrounded by trees and the skies were dark enough for fabulous stargazing. The toilets and showers were clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Peter was very friendly and the whole atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. Lovely spacious peaceful pitches. Clean facilities, although you have to keep turning the shower off and on to get hot water. This didn’t really matter just had to get used to it. Lovely walks from the site. A super pub in Dilham village (The Cross Keys). We spent a day swimming and kayaking, launching from the Dilham Hall Retreat kayaking and paddleboard site. This is all part of the same estate so no charge to launch your own kayak. No noise after 10pm really works for us as does no music. A great little find.,

Quiet, chilled and small site. Clean facilities with nice hot showers. Owner came out to meet new arrivals in the early evening and was v friendly and knowledgeable. There is a fridge and freezer (across road in farmhouse) for campers’ use. Blackberry bushes were a nice bonus. Bus stop for buses to Norwich, Cromer and Sheringham 5 mins walk (honestly so much easier than driving - roads narrow and busy, and car parks full). Farm also sells eggs, and depending on season - whatever they’re growing.

An absolute hidden gem for switching off. The pitches are well-spaced and tucked away in nature, offering a truly tranquil vibe. The toilet and shower blocks were immaculate, hot water was always available, and the owners were super welcoming. If you want a peaceful retreat away from the noise, this is the spot.
