We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah. We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group. You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET. Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait up to a day. Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times. Sites 1 & 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you. There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year; an assortment of insects, according to their seasons; varying growth stages of grasses - long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather on occasion (high winds, high temps, storms) - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property... oh, and roosters - we have them too! If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)

🔥 campfires as per shire rules are allowed between April 30th and October 1st 🔥 Thanks all Our family moved to Toodyay 7 years ago after spending 8 years in Kalgoorlie, we dreamt of space to keep animals and raise our children. Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Nigerian Dwarf x goats. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. It is recommended that only 4 Wheel drives for access and a high clearance caravan/trailer. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Hope you enjoy your stay on our land. Proceeds go back into feeding livestock and the maintenance of our farm. It would be devastating if this dreadful bug should come this far. We appreciate your co-operation. Pinegrove is a small property of 107 acres nestled in the forest away from traffic and suburbia, 14 kilometers off the Brookton Highway. We run Merino sheep and have pure bred Border Collies for sheep work and dog trialing, which is Ivan's sport . It's a natural bush block with cleared areas. We welcome campers and people wanting to park their caravan or RV. Campfires are permitted (except when fire bans are on). Free firewood to collect. We ask that campers do not use the bush as a toilet please, this is not acceptable and please do not empty caravan toilets on any part of our property please. There is a toilet in the shed at the Homestead or please bring a portable toilet, We do have to limit the use of the toilet if our water supply runs low as we depend on rainwater for all our needs. We appreciate campers to be self contained if possible. Well behaved dogs are welcome, they should be on a lead if coming anywhere near the sheep or Homestead please. There are no swimming spots at our place, there is a pool in town which is 30 minutes away. There is plenty to see and do in the area such as Boyagin Rock you can climb, we are only 30 minutes from Brookton, 40 minutes from Beverley and about 45 minutes from York. We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Nigerian Dwarf x goats. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. It is recommended that only 4 Wheel drives for access and a high clearance caravan/trailer. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Weekend Trip to Herron Point Farm Stay
We stayed on lakeside camp 3. It is exactly as in the photo. We sat there with drinks both mornings to listen to the life on the lake. So many birds and a pair of Whistling kites living in one of the trees. Paul was a very friendly host. There are about a dozen free range chooks wandering about and they generally just hung out with us. We also wandered down to the wetland area to spot more birdlife. Was a lovely peaceful stay. The camp site is flat and large with a firepit provided during camp fire season. Would definitely recommend.

2 nights at Pinegrove Camping
This was the perfect 2 night getaway in our camper trailer to rest and recharge. We stayed on site 2 which was flat, shady and pre-raked ready for our arrival. Although we couldn't have a campfire due to the time of year fire restrictions, this site would be perfect for when open fires are allowed. The sites are distanced far enough apart that you still have privacy.

We stayed at site Opera 2 for a total of 3 nights. This site was amongst trees and felt very secluded- exactly what we were looking for. Other sites have views. In the morning and at dusk we saw a couple of Kangaroos bounce by. Lovely spot and Bea was quick to answer queries. Highly recommend

Opera 2 is a nice quiet area tucked in the woods. There are other sites in the vicinity but you don’t see them. Opera 1 and 3 with views. We saw a number of kangaroos and birdlife - a lovely nature spot and can highly recommend if you want a tranquil rest

The Tampines site at 100 acre wood is awesome. Stunning view from the top of the scarp, north west facing... so you get a pretty good sunset. It is very private... far away enough from the other sites that you feel alone. Surrounded by beautiful bush. The concrete slab was great too, didnt habe to worry about levelling or putting a mat down. Highly recommended

Big open area for a group, or nice and private if by yourself. Flies were a little friendly, but that's expected this time of the year. Awesome quick get away for the weekend. Will be back again so i can purchase somefresh eggs. 😆 Highly recommended.

I loved caravaning at Hill Tree Farm. It is a beautiful property with (environmentally) friendly hosts, undulating hills, trees and much birdlife. I had the best night's sleep there as it's so quiet and the campsites are far apart. We will definitely return.

Helps getting out when the bank is wet, dont forget to chuck it in the water before you jump in. We suggest you have a look where the logs and branches are under water before you get in and the water gets muddied.
