Description

Camp high up in the sky at Point Supre—10,000 feet above sea level, to be exact. Since it’s pretty lofty out here, the campground is only open from mid-June to mid-September, but that’s more than enough time to get your camp on. The hardest part will be deciding how you want to spend your time out here! Cedar Brooks National Monument is full of deserts, forests, meadows, rock formations, and more. It’s a truly diverse place that you’ll never tire of discovering. If you go to reserve online and everything is all booked, there are also 15 additional campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis…you just might get lucky!

The sights are a bit close together and near the loop road, but the meadows on either side are gorgeous, there are a couple hiking paths available from the campgrounds, and it's a very easy 1/2 mile walk to the Cedar Breaks visitor center which offers Ranger Programs. It's amazingly beautiful here.
