Site 1 - Winding Fork Camp
in Winding Fork Camp, OhioChris was a great host! He greeted us at the site, was super friendly, and even gave us a dozen fresh eggs! The camping spot was far from the road so you felt completely secluded and had great views of the night sky. Our dogs were able to explore without worrying about cars or other people. There was also a lot of great hiking and swimming options within a short drive!

(Dispersed site)
Loved staying at this campground. The primitive sites were large and the wooded ones are private and nicely shaded. Steve checked on us several times to see if we needed anything and we were able to purchase firewood and any forgotten items. I enjoyed being right on the little Kentucky with my dogs without being worried about them being off leash. We spent several hours each day splashing in the river while we explored. There is a lot within a 30 minute drive of this location such as hiking, a store for supplies, and ice cream!
