Toodyay Mountain Park Retreat
in Toodyay Mountain Park Retreat, Western AustraliaWe would love to come back.
We had a super time camping behind the shed. Wonderful views and plenty of space. Eclectic art which is right up our street combined with some fabulous rusty relics.
Great site and we've fallen in love with Toodyay too!
The Shed
in Toolibut Bush Camp, Western AustraliaSecond year
Second year at Toolibut and unfortunately a few hours before arrival a bushfire in the Bremer area started. Lynda was in contact immediately and we decided to proceed to camp. On arrival a further warning was issued and we decided, even though the fire was some distance away to move out of the area. Kevin and Lynda were very helpful throughout and weâre really glad that no damage to Toolibut occurred.
Site 8 - Downderry Winery and Farm Stay

Very hospitable and welcoming hosts and a bonus to have wine tasting on the doorstep. Great flat camp sites. Narrogin is worth exploring some more. Lovely rural town which is clean and tidy.

in Toolibut Bush Camp, Western AustraliaSuperb venue for bremer bay visitor
Toolibut was great. Lynda was very accommodating. We arrived just before a storm hit and to help us set up Lynda kindly put us into a shed. Boy were we grateful with what blew in! Super facilities and Lynda and Kevin are super friendly (as are their 4 dogs). Thank you.
Nutkin Lodge Powered Sites
in Nutkin Lodge Peaceful Bay, Western AustraliaNice place but expect wind!
Lovely outlook but very exposed to wind! Didnât find the loos until we were leaving.
Nambung Powered Campsite
in Nambung Station Stay, Western AustraliaSuper time away, perth easy drive
Clean and tidy, friendly welcome, lovely and quiet, emus walking down the road as we ate breakfast. The camping area is quiet large but the actual sites are a bit squeezey (see the pictures). Camp kitchen well kept, showers and toilets a great benefit.
Site 2 - DogLeg
in Chittering Acres, Western AustraliaLovely site but noisy.
Beautiful vista and the welcome from Andrew was 10/10. We live in a very quiet suburb and found the road noise and aircraft to much for us.
Homebase
in Fish, Fibre & Forage Farm at Tammin, Western AustraliaYes, we will be back. wonderful.
Superb. Fred greeted us at the gate and immediately made us feel welcome and at home. We'd had lots of previous contact and it was nice to be able to put faces to names. Great location and facilities, beautiful views and amazing night sky. Use of portable fire pits a bonus.
Charles Gardner National Park has wildflowers galore. Could spend a week there on my hands and knees just taking photos.
Site 4 - Twin Creek Farmstay
in Farm stay., Western Australia10/10 camp experience - superb
From the moment we were booked in to the last few minutes on the farm we were treated like Royalty. Kathryn and David were exceptional hosts and their kids are just a delight! The location is easy to get to from Perth Metro and directions were clear and precise. On arriving we were shown to our site and some of the workings of the farm were explained to us by a very (and rightfully so) proud host and hostess.
Fantastic location, stayed on campsite 3 - it was amazing. Plenty of shade, spots of sun for solar panels, creek near by, lovely firepit for the right time of year. Overall spotless camp sites, gorgeous birdlife and nature - can't wait to go back.
Treat yourself to a meal out at at Summer Creek Brewery in Bakers Hill.
Great walking, the hosts are BRILLIANT. David literally rescued us and our broken down old Prado - saved what could have been a miserable weekend turned it into an amazing one.
Thank you from Beth and Derek
