Instructions clear on getting into the site. We rented and it was not as rocky as it looked in the photos. If you had a trailer it would be especially good as a place to park for the night, as there is a ton of room.

2 nights at Cozy Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was charming and cozy, it came with various board games to pass the time and a telescope to enjoy the stars at night. The hammocks or what my partner and I call the nest was relaxing. We also had a golden retriever visit us on our 2nd and last day in the cabin. She was very friendly. If ever she does wander off on your visit, its the neighbor's dog, she is not lost, she's just enjoying the nature like the rest of us.

Weekend Trip to Cozy Cabin in the Woods

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving weekend at Sabrina’s cabin and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect—just a 10-minute drive from Rosseau, where we found a fantastic general store that had everything we needed (including firewood). We took our dogs to a nearby beach, grabbed great pizza at Rosseau Pizzeria on the boardwalk, treated ourselves to gelato, and browsed a charming antique shop in town. The cabin itself was amazing—extremely clean, cozy, and full of personality. Sabrina has thought of everything: a full-sized fridge, coffee maker, electric heater that kept the cabin nice and toasty, and even a whole upper loft we didn’t end up needing because the pullout couch on the main floor was perfect for us. Our big dog and mini poodle had plenty of space to stretch out too. The outhouse was surprisingly spacious and spotless, stocked with toilet paper and featuring a working sink with running water both inside and outside for washing dishes. We spent most of our time by the fire pit, which was large enough for a group and surrounded by ample seating. Between the two wooden picnic tables, the big deck, and the covered area with hammocks, there were endless spots to relax, cook, and enjoy the outdoors. Even though the cabin is just off a road, the trees and forest create a real sense of seclusion and peace—you quickly forget there’s any traffic nearby. Sabrina was extremely kind and welcoming, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. We’d happily come back!

Weekend Trip to Fish’s Yurt Romantic Luxury Escape

My partner and I felt instantly welcome. The Mongolian yurt was spotless and cozy, with electricity, AC, a full kitchen, a bathroom with a tub, and a thermostat-controlled stove. Tracey and Christopher even had a campfire ready every night, and their two sweet dogs were a delight. We visited over Thanksgiving for fall colours—perfect dark skies for stargazing and gorgeous sunsets at Seagull Lake. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Light House Landing! We celebrated our 6th anniversary at the cabin and it was a great experience, we woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise on the lake! Jim, Alyssa and Fran have created such a welcoming environment and were great hosts (like texting to tell us turtles were hatching on the beach one morning or showing us how to feed the chickadees). The cabins were very nice, clean and on the water. We would highly recommend this little slice of paradise

Weekend Trip to Cozy Cabin in the Woods

This cabin was the perfect little getaway for our artist retreat weekend! It's cozy inside and the space heater works very well! The outside has a lot of fun play structures and hammocks to let out your inner kid (or actual kids) and the twinkle lights add a touch of magic! I have been here a few times now and it keeps getting nicer every time! It shows that there is a lot of care and love that has gone into this place :) I highly recommend checking it out!

There was more perks then listed in the ad we were grateful for the levelled deck platform for the tent and the provided barbecue , although we didn’t need it ! Was a nice extra ! We caught PG in its infancy and what a treat. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The sites a huge. The put in at the lake is exceptional, with a fabulous dock and small sandy beach for easy access for canoes and kayaks. The birding was also amazing. The river was fun to paddle, but the many beaver are hard at work, and that's just nature. We look forward to seeing the next stages of development.

We really enjoyed our two night stay in the Hairy Foxes site! Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful management. While we couldn't have a fire on our site, the communal firepit was just steps from our site. We enjoyed meeting the other campers and the manager kept it well stocked with nice dry hardwood. The bathroom was a work in progress but was immaculate with new fixtures and shower. The night sky was stunning. We will absolutely be back!

Located on a 1 acre property on Magnetawan River in Dunchurch, Ontario this little piece of heaven is a separate area in front of our cottage and should be used as a "glamping experience" on water. We love to host people for time away in the fresh forest country air. Many enjoy their time here hiking, fishing or just hanging out reading a book, playing some games or relaxing. You are more than welcome to use our canoe and kayaks, just be sure to wear life jackets, your safety is a priority to us. Dunchurch is well known for its amazing trails such as the Wild Cat ATV Trail only 10 mins from the front door of the Cabin. We are happy to allow you to use the area at your leisure however, please note you must have your own ATV’s and insurance for riding recreational/motorized vehicles, we do not provide coverage for this. If you are considering guides for ATV Trail riding, please let us know. We are happy to make separate bookings for this on weekdays or even weekends. There is an Outhouse just steps from the Cozy Cabin front door to be used for your bathroom needs (just note there is no running water in either the Outhouse or the Cabin). There is a wash station beside the Outhouse for cleaning up, washing dishes or meal prep. Loads of private parking for vehicle(s), recreational toys or other. There is no direct access to the lake, but there are many lakes and beaches within a short drive. There are also many quaint towns to visit, beautiful hiking trails to explore all nearby. The main floor has a pull-out double bed, and the loft has 2 sets of bunk beds, ideal for kids. The bathroom facility is a newly built very airy eco-outhouse - you will be pleasantly surprised! There is a sink to wash up, and an outdoor shower, but for now, only cold water is available. This an ideal family getaway or a romantic getaway, I look forward to hosting you!

We are excited to offer 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. 20 min to Parry Sound. These cabins are located within 75 acres of forest. Each cabin features either two single beds or one king-size bed. Cabins are insulated but have no heat so bring own pillows, blankets and sleeping bags. Accommodation is limited to two adults per cabin. Common areas for all cabins include: 1) Outdoor Kitchen (includes pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils etc.), 2) Freezer/Fridge, 3) BBQ, 4) Indoor Shower (hot and cold water), 5) Outdoor Shower (hot and cold water) and 6) Toilet/Outhouse with running cold water. The large BBQ is equipped with 5 burners for the grill. There is also 1 side pot burner for foiling water and another ceramic grilling burner. Additionally, we have three tent spots available, with one designated for each cabin. There is ample parking space for guests. You can enjoy the convenience of a shower with hot water and a BBQ pit. Address is 261 Star Lake rd. Seguin. Its the second driveway when going north on Star lake rd. Look for a sign MAPLE RIVERS LANE. From Hwy 400, get off on hwy 141. Go east towards Rosseau. Turn left at Tally Hoe/Swords, then right at Turtle lake rd and left at Star lake rd. Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. A beautiful Maple Key Park and sandy beach awaits you only 4 km from the site. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the nearby historic town of Orrville. Stay here for a day or a week, this off-grid little resort has all the necessities that one would need, and make you want to come back again! These 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. Fire wood is all around the forest Pick anything that is down and enjoy the common fire pit. Also a flashlight and some bug spray might help. This is a family oriented camping: 1) Please refrain from using offensive language, 2) Smoking allowed around fire pit only, 3) Please place all cigarette butts in fire pit, 4) Absolutely no candles allowed, (if desired please use insents only!) 5) Parties allowed only upon verbal consent from the management, 6) We have no cleaning fee so please keep your cabin neat and tidy. 7) Before checkout please place all garbage in and around the cabin into main bin located beside the outdoor kitchen. 8) Cabin floor should be swept using broom provided in the cabin.
