Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community. Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie. Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing. Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted.

Come stay next to the beach! This beautiful rustic cabin sits on a treed lot with privacy. Extra bunkie available upon request. The cabin includes a double Murphy bed, we supply all bedding. A Cot is available for a third person. The cabin is air-conditioned, has a small sitting area, fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and heater for the cooler nights in the fall. Firewood available. Washroom facilities include a hot shower ( bring your towels) and composting toilet within steps of the cabin. There is a propane BBQ and a Gazebo. There is a beach and a public park a couple minute walk from the cabin. There is a 100 km bike trail within a 5-minute bike ride from the cabin. We offer the use of bikes, and kayaks when available and weather permitted. Grocery stores, restaurants, and small shops, are all centrally located within ten minutes from cabin. While you are in town you can watch Lakers and Ocean Boats go through the canal Within 15 minute is Ridgeway and Crystal Beach which offers concerts, beaches and activities. We are centrally located, approximately 25 minutes from Niagara Falls attractions like casino, museums, zip lining, jet boat tours, hiking in the gorge and other major attractions.

Clean and well planned space with all necessities. Hosts are very friendly and considerate. I would recommend this place if someone wants to camp near beach and doesn't want to carry everything.

Gisele and Vic were SO kind and generous. The space is darling, private and well-planned, and they have thought of so many details and provided many extras. I would return in a heartbeat. A short walk takes you to a beautiful beach on Lake Erie, a short 10 minute drive takes you into town (Port Colborne) which is a delight (Pie Guy! Great inventive grilled cheeses/watching ships go through the canal/ cute shops.) The hosts anticipated needs and went above and beyond. From setting out firewood to providing a bocce set to having a nice bbq with side burner set up in the outdoor kitchen area - they thought of everything. One of our nicest experiences with a vacation rental.

This place looks exactly as it does in the pictures! It was the perfect getaway for my family this weekend! We loved the screened in dining/hang out space, and the kids were fully entertained playing on the sand beach. Theresa was welcoming and very quick with replying to any messages throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The cabin is very clean well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic just a 1 minute walk to the beach. One of the highlights was the complimentary bikes and kayaks. While we didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks, we really enjoyed riding the bikes along the scenic trail into town. It was such a relaxing experience watching the ships pass through and exploring the area. The cabin also has board games for indoor entertainment, and there was plenty of firewood provided for evening campfires Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway

We had such a wonderful stay with Gisele and her husband! 😊 They were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived and truly went above and beyond to make sure our family had a great experience. One of the sweetest surprises was finding a little bed set up for our 5-year-old son. 🛏️❤️ We never expected that thoughtful gesture, and it immediately showed how much they care about their guests. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. 🌳✨ Everything was clean and comfortable, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We loved being so close to several beaches 🏖️ while still being only a short drive from Niagara Falls. 🌊 If you’re looking for a quiet family-friendly getaway, this is it. Gisele and her husband are exceptional hosts—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your stay memorable. 😊 We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Relaxing visit. Everything that could be controlled was. Pond was clean and relaxing. We used lemongrass oil to control the tick issue. We found several around but thankfully none on us. Mosquitos werent an issue. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. We had to cut our vacation short by a day but we still enjoyed the time we had there.

My wife and I plus our two small dogs had a great time at the tiny home. Wether it was just staying in and enjoying a good barbecue surrounded by nature or taking a quick trip to one of the many parks and places close to us. The tiny home itself has it all to make you feel at the comfort of your home and when you step out is all surrounded by nature. Aleksandra is a great communicator and even better host, she will answer all of your questions and make you feel welcomed. If you're looking for a place to relax and/or break the routine, this is it.

This is such a nice spot for the “glamping” experience with enough amenities to make you feel super comfortable. The bed in the yurt was really comfortable. The property is quiet and private. I would highly recommend this spot and would love to book again soon. It’s also only about 45 mins from Toronto!

I took my mom to this place after years of vacationing in cabins around Wasaga Beach, and she kept commenting on how luxurious she felt staying at Gisele and Vic's compared to our previous experiences. The cottage is cozy, welcoming, and exceptionally well maintained. Every detail has clearly been thought through. Gisele and Vic made sure we had everything we needed and more, including bikes and kayaks available for guests to use. They even had the fire set up for us on our first night, which was such a thoughtful touch. When we return, and we definitely plan on returning, we'll be packing much lighter because so much is already provided. The grounds are spacious, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The beach was even closer than we expected and was a wonderful alternative to some of the busier beaches in the area. The sand was beautiful, the water was crystal clear, and it was already a perfect temperature for swimming in early June. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable, and worry-free getaway. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

Weekend Trip to Cabin close to Lake Erie and trails

This was our second time at this cabin, and we will definitely go there again! We are bikers so it’s an excellent location for us - got off in Niagara and biked on trails both ways. The cabin has everything you need, plus board games, badminton, pétanque and kayaks. A really nice beach at Lake Erie is two minutes away, though chilling on the cabin’s patio is also relaxing - there’s plenty of birds singing around and you often hear the waves from the lake. You can cook on the Barbeque or go to the nearby towns for lunch - we recommend I Love Sicily in Chrystal Beach for their sandwiches and ice cream. Enjoy!
