THE SPACE
A cozy 800 sqft log chalet with wood burning stove, outdoor 3-person hot tub, wood fire-pit, picnic-table & BBQ. Private 0.65 acres across from Eagle Pass trail. Tons of parking for trucks & trailers. Sleeps up to 5 single adults or a family of 6. An easy 35 to 45 minute commute to all the local mountains and lakes between Sicamous Lakes & Revelstoke. You will never run short of things to do. Also great during hunting season and for snowmobilers, skiers & snowboarders during winter season fun.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests can access all parts of the property except for the shop, which is off limits. Also, please remember that there is wildlife in the area. Please do not leave food outside and always keep the cabin door closed so smaller animals will not enter and make it their home.
GUEST INTERACTION
I am available by phone, text or email anytime. If it is an emergency then please call or text. There are also 2 site managers available upon request for any urgent issues that may arise and for snow removal.
CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS
There is a digital deadbolt on the front door. I will message you the code on check-in-day. To unlock the door simply enter the code and wait for the lock to open. You can manually lock the door from the inside. When leaving for the day simply close the door and press the lock symbol and the door will lock.
NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW
Also close by is the Crazy Creek Suspension Bridge and Hot Pools just 5 minutes down the road towards Revelstoke. The Perry River is just a 3 minute walk down the road and Eagles River across HWY #1.

It was amazing! Comfy beds, warm and cozy space. Even though the highway is close, inside we couldn’t hear any traffic from outside :)
We would suggest some sort of lamp/light fixture in each bunk. Otherwise everything was perfect :)

The forest bunkie was a perfect mix between hotel and camping. AC, electricity and sophisticated security all inside a beautiful cabin with bunk beds, custom wood furniture and a mini wood stove. It smelled amazing, just like the woodsy forest that surrounded it. Also, showers, toilets and laundry super close by.
Lastly and best of all, they welcomed my doggie with treats, poop bags and dishware !
I wish could have stayed longer!

Boulder Mountain was great. Loved the hot tub and morning coffee. A very dog friendly place. However reserving them via Hipcamp was not great. They had not even noticed that there was a Hipcamp reservation request. Luckily they still had a spot for us.

We loved staying on Denise and Korys property and getting to stay in Periwinkle was absolutely fantastic. They are incredible hosts and the property is large with plenty of tree coverage for those hot days and a beautiful beach right at your toes. We had our dog Rundle out who couldn’t have been happier to sleep in the shade and swim every day. Lots to do and see in the area that’s worth checking out! We’ll be back!

We were at a tent sight at BMR and found it easy to find and a nice set up. The highway and train noises didn’t bother us, earplugs are provided but we didn’t need to use them. The bathrooms were nice and front desk was great. Loved the pantry and coffee machine. The only downside was there was mould in the shower.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mara Lake! We arrived late and were warmly welcomed at the gate, which instantly put us at ease. The campground was very clean and well-appointed, and we were so grateful for the hot showers and reliable WiFi after a long day of traveling.
My son was absolutely over the moon to find a group of kids to swim with and enjoy the playground, it made the experience extra special for him. The atmosphere was family-friendly, safe, and fun, and we truly wished we could have stayed longer.
Highly recommend this campsite for anyone passing through or looking for a great place to relax with family!

The hosts are incredibly welcoming and responsive to any requests or concerns. Periwinkle is very cute and the lake is fabulously clear and warm. Do remember that this is a 50+ year old vintage trailer so do go with the appropriate expectations as to little quirks and foibles. It was an overall charming and pleasant experience.

We had such a wonderful stay at Herman Lake Wilderness Campground! 🌿✨ Catieln is the most friendly and welcoming host, and her beautiful family made us feel right at home. The campground is so quiet and peaceful—it was exactly the getaway we needed.
Our kids loved petting the sheep, picking berries, spotting butterflies, frogs, and lizards—and were thrilled to see a baby moose! We enjoye fishing at Herman Lake, and White Lake (just minutes away) was also fantastic.
This is truly a beautiful place, we will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly escape! ❤️🐑🎣🦋

Really nice spot. Besides the noise from the train and the highway it’s great. Good amenities! Free cup of coffee in the morning, access to laundry and dish washing facilities, good wifi, free shower and hot tub use. For the price I would say it’s pretty reasonable.
