Great place!! The host was super accommodating and helpful to all our needs! All the animals were so nice and friendly! Bathroom was clean as well! We miss all of our animal’s friends already!

Amazing Weekend Getaway
Shanna was such a welcoming host and it was such a lovely stay on an amazing Farm Sanctuary! We had a lovely time car camping in a large hatchback, which kept us warm along with the firewood Shanna provided! She was so welcoming and the animals were beautiful, and clearly very well taken care of and loved. This site was such a gem and I’d love to come back in the future! Beautiful animals, and clean cozy site. Restroom and shower too! Very easy introduction to “glamping”/camping for me and my partner who are total newbies!

I had an amazing stay at the farm with my two dogs. The dogs loved exploring the grounds and meeting all the farm animals. We stayed in the trailer for one night and it was so cozy. The trailer had everything we needed. We’ll definitely come back again to visit.

Amazing animals and trailer camping
I’ve been recommending this to all my friends as a great place for families and couples!
The animals on this farm are so sweet and the hosts are so considerate in how they treat them. While our group was sitting around the campfire we were going around sharing our lists of top animals on the farm that we loved the most. We could remember all their names and we each had built relationships with different animal.
Trailer is a great set up, we could stay warm with the propane fires. Much appreciated.
Bring lots of carrots.

Bring a group to the sanctuary!
The area to set up tents was nice with alot of space. Shanna made sure we had enough tables and shade. It was great to have a bbq to help with cooking. The kids loved getting to feed the animals and the movie with popcorn made for a great ending to our day. A fun different camping experience.

Kids Loved the animals
We loved camping on the farm. Our city kids loved the Alpacas, goats and pigs. They even got to hold and pet a very friendly chicken! Shopping and food was close by and we also visited a beautiful lake. Great easy weekend getaway from San Francisco.

Hidden Gem!
OMG! Love Creek Sanctuary is a hidden gem! Shanna and Garth are gracious hosts and just down right good people! The kind of people you want to have a mojito with and hear all their animal stories!
Their farm was equipped with water and electric hookups. The animals are soooo cute! Kiddos got to feed the alpacas, goats, peacocks, chickens and pet KeeKee the cat!
Looking forward to staying here again and bring our friends to join in on the fun! ♥️🦙♥️

A great stay experiencing nature!
We are so grateful to Shanna and her family for such a wonderful stay! We were there for sadly just one night on a trip to visit South Yuba river and the surrounding area, and we were so pleasantly surprised by the property, the accommodation, and all the details that made it so great. We booked last minute, but Shanna made it really easy through the whole stay. We usually opt for camping but given the one night stay, we wanted something that we could still enjoy the outdoors without the hassle of setting up a full campsite given our limited stay. The fire pit and BBQ outside were such a nice touch, and we LOVED to spend time with all the animals Shanna takes care of (the feeding with alpacas, goats, sheets, donkeys, and pigs was really fun, and it was so fun to see the chickens, cats, dogs, and peacocks roaming around!). The RV had every detail, including a lantern and headlights which were so useful as we ended up BBQing dinner a bit after sunset. Also, having never stayed in an RV, we didn’t know if we would feel cramped - but it was SO spacious and the space was really well utilized to accommodate every possible need. Thank you Shanna, we will be keeping this space in mind for our future visits to the area! We really appreciate your hospitality and attention to detail during our stay.

We had an amazing time at the trailer. It was over 100 degrees the weekend my family stayed there but thankfully the AC in the trailer worked super good. Our 18 month old daughter loved running around and looking at all the animals. Looking forward to going back when it’s not so hot out.

Site 1 - Camp at our farm sanctuary!
My five-year-old daughter, husband and I loved tent camping at Love Creek Sanctuary. We were enamored to get up close and personal with chickens, peacocks, Guinea hens, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and last bit not least, alpacas! My daughter loved feeding them. We found an inviting table, comfy seating, a sun umbrella, and a propane bbq that we used for cooking our own meals. It was also convenient to have access to a shower stall in the farm mudroom. The hosts were very gracious and welcoming. Loved watching the sunsets in the west from this peaceful place - would highly recommend! Don't miss a dip in the river on your way in or out. Thank you so much Shanna and family!

Our girl scout troop thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip here. There was lots of room to set up our tents. The port a potties were super clean. A great area was already set up with tables and chairs near a fire pit and barbecue for meals and general hanging out. The part the girls loved the best was being able to interact with the animals. Shanna was oh so patient answering questions and letting them join in feeding and caring for the animals. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Shanna is amazing and SO patient with kids. They flock to her every time she’s in the yard.
Love coming here year after year. This time we fed the goats, the pigs, and the llamas and played with baby chickens.
And they just got a couple of horses, looking forward to interacting with them next time we come.

Camp with some Alpacas!
You’re surrounded with so many amazing animals. We were provided tables, chairs, a grill, and a firepit. There was a bathroom available and trash cans.
Shanna was super friendly and introduced us to her land and animals. There is plenty of space to setup your tents. It can get a little loud at night with animals but we all slept through it.
There are also a lot of things to explore nearby so be sure to check out the area and local food!

just out roaming the barnyard
Such a wonderful time there with the farm yard and the roaming animals and the sounds of some donkey dispute and the darting frenzied Guinea fowl simply running out of each others way! We had a lovely fun lively time and will ask the hosts if we can move in and watch the sun go down night after night. (bonus! our car needed a jump and there they were with the cables all set to go)
