Welcome to Orchard Acres on the breathtaking Bruce Peninsula! Our serene and off-grid camping spots offer a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, nature aficionados, and birdwatchers seeking tranquility amidst stunning natural beauty. Located just minutes from the Bruce Trail access point, 15 minutes from Lion's Head, and a half-hour from Tobermory and the Grotto, Orchard Acres provides the perfect base for exploring the wonders of the Bruce Peninsula. Nearby boat launches beckon kayakers to embark on unforgettable adventures along the pristine shores of Georgian Bay, while nighttime unveils a mesmerizing display of stars, unobscured by city lights. At Orchard Acres, we cherish the peace and quiet of nature. If you seek a place for loud music, parties, excessive drinking, or marijuana use, we regret to inform you that our campground may not be the right fit. Our property is a haven for wildlife, including the majestic Sandhill Crane, whose unique calls serenade the evenings. Various bird species flock to our native trees and bushes, offering birdwatchers a diverse and enriching experience. You're welcome to bring tents or small tent trailers, but we kindly ask that large RVs and generators remain at home to preserve the tranquility for our guests, neighbors, and wildlife. Given the presence of wildlife such as Black Bears, Coyotes, and the Massasauga Rattler, we urge guests to exercise caution by securely storing food and garbage away from tents or trailers at night. Please understand that our responses to messages may be delayed due to weak cell phone signals in the area. We strive to check messages several times a day to provide timely assistance. As we work to restore our orchard property to its former glory, you may experience activity on-site from mid-morning to suppertime. However, evenings and nighttime offer the serenity and tranquility you seek after a day of adventure. We're excited to welcome you to our little slice of paradise at Orchard Acres and look forward to making your stay unforgettable!
