We used this spot as a home base for our yearly hunting trip. It was perfect for what we needed. Everyone on the farm was friendly and welcoming! You’ll get to know the horses and cats as they wander around the farm and sometimes come up to you to say hello. The cabin was a great common area and place to wind down after a long day of being out in the woods.

The peace pipe is a campers refuge! I loved the lower level sitting area, brought along flowers and a tablecloth and it made for a beautiful meditation/yoga sanctuary. The upstairs sleeping loft was a reprieve from the heat and had the best views of the land! Mostly, we spent our free time star gazing and strolling the river. We spent 2 nights over Thanksgiving since our house is undergoing renovations. It was exactly what we needed. Joseph was welcoming and attentive to our needs and made sure we knew he was just a phone call away. We enjoyed the quiet and coziness of this beautiful cabin (#2) and the kitchen was equipped well enough for us to fix our Thanksgiving dinner. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable and warm through the cold nights. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
