Our homestead is fully fenced for your pets off leash enjoyment and security! Please note when arriving that our driveway is clearly marked with our fire number on the gate and our gate is wooden and the property is completely fenced. (We hope to avoid you mistaking our neighbours driveway who also have trailer’s) Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area are marked with signage. Camp fire wood is available at no charge. Just be mindful and leave some for others. There is no potable water on site however, we do have an out building with toilet. Free Showers and potable water are available at Murray provincial park during open season. You can reach us 24/7 via text or cell. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive, west of Murray Corner and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. We recommend taking shore drive for your travels here as Murray Rd is VERY uneven. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 8 amazing sites. Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if you’re adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! Catch a Ferry to Newfoundland if your heart desires.

We are located on the beautiful Northumberland Strait, which boasts the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. When the tide is out you can walk on the sand bars for hours. Here you will enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We are only 15 minutes from the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia is only half an hour away if you want to go exploring. Also, you might like to try your luck fishing sea bass. Legal catch size is 50 to 65 centimeters. Our large beach front sites easily accomodate RVs and motor homes. Campfires are permitted according to provincial regulations. Firewood is available. Dogs are permitted; however, they must be on a leash at all times. There is no electricity or running water (but we provide ample drinking water) and there can be access to a charger box so you may charge your devices or have a light at night. This was an amazing cozy comfortable clean and had everything you needed to recharge. Teas, coffee and being able to cook a quick meal and having the dishes and utensils to do is great ! There was ample fans for cooling and the bed was comfortable. The host was kind and accomodating. The history and story behind this place is definetly interesting and worth the visit and is even told at the local museum . Would definetly recommend and would stay here again!!!

Got site 1 for tent camping and it was perfect for our nights stay. We could pull up right to our site with our vehicle easily and the ground was flat and perfect and we even had a tree for shade. They supplied a whole table and chairs for us and a garbage bin. Straight forward rules. The animals were such a sweet touch to the stay and made it memorable. This site was perfect driving distance to champlain place and all major amenities. Hosts were so kind. Would recommend and will be back.

From the time I booked to the time we checked out Charlene and Jim were very attentive to our needs before and during our stay! We have just set out on a very long trip from Virginia to Nova Scotia and made a stop for two days to rest! We were parked on a nicely cut grassy area just across from the sheep pen. There was no smell at all. We enjoyed watching the chickens running about and hearing the rooster crow in the morning! There is a very clean porta potty on site with hand sanitizer available. If we are ever in the area we would stop and stay again! Thank you Charlene and Jim!

This cabin is a lovely, secluded forest spot to bath in nature. The host is very friendly and it was a delight to share his corner of the world for the week. Next time we'd prepare better for the walk to/from car and shoreline, as the mosquitos along the way were vicious, and required full cover. Having fresh water and ice delivered was a treat of a trade off, and getting to see the bee hives up close was a highlight. One of the better beds we've slept on in our travels, with a great view of the trees. A special spot. Cooking equipment is very minimal. In the warmer months, bringing a camping stove is recommended.

The Pit Stop was a lovely place to spend a couple of nights. The cabin and outhouse were clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Janna is a friendly and welcoming host, and the location is ideal, close to the Confederation Trail and a short bike ride from the town of O'Leary. Highly recommend!

Beautiful site! Super close to Green Gables sites but also lovely views just hanging out at the site. They were able to help me out with borrowing a 30v adaptor after I forgot mine at home. One thing to keep in mind is PEI has a lot of clay so consider that for your tent posts. I didn't realize the Canafian Maritimes had the reputation of being the friendliest folk but I can confirm Red Rock Campground is no exception. I'd happily stay here again.

Très grand terrain juste à côté de la maison de l’hôte. Elle nous as fournis du bois pour faire un feu et du papier. C’est un des coins les plus magnifiques de l’île. Je recommande mais amenez des bouchons sinon les poules vous reveillerons ! ( à moins de mettre la tente loin de leurs enclos ).
