1. Lily Pad is a semi-private open space by the water (for tent or small trailer). It does not have running water or access to hot water. There is a shared toilet and a wash station.
2. The Firefly Lane is a 30-foot camper in a private site surrounded by trees. Enjoy the great outdoors! It has running water, non-potable (but a water bottle is provided), hot water. Private bathroom, fridge, heat. There is a stove to cook inside and a fire pit and BBQ to cook outdoors. Camper is Solar powered.
For both sites :
- Lake access, dock and forest are shared with owners and other campers.
- Dive off dock for swimming!

An offgrid rustic style bunkie that sleeps 2 in the loft (double mattress), 1 comfortably on the sofa pullout, and one more small person on the chair that turns into a small cot. Please bring your own pillows, however clean sheets and warm blankets are provided.
Rusty also provides cooking pots, pans, dishes, and eating utensils, along with a small amount of non-potable water to clean hands and dishes.
Firepit with cooking grate is available for hipcampers. Outdoor cooking only. Wood can be provided as requested. Please do not cut from property.
A small hiking trail on the property will lead you to Rustys favorite hangout, Red Deer Lake. The trail is a bit of a challenge with many obstacles so please use caution and take your time. Those who rent kayaks or pedal boat will have their vessel waiting for them at this location. Please say "Hi" to Rusty when passing by on your hike to Red Deer Lake.
Trails for atv/utvs or others looking for a longer adventure are available a short walking distance off site. Message for further details.
A cedar and pine outhouse is available. This outhouse contains a composting toilet that is emptied between stays. This keeps odors down.

We had a great time tent camping at Beth’s place! The site was very private, super quiet, and beautiful. It’s a serene little slice of nature. We also had a great time in the sauna and swimming in the river! Would stay there again!

The site is on the lake and was quiet and peaceful. I had 2 retrievers with me who loved being able to swim. The hosts invited me to join them at their bonfire in the evening which was incredible. It excelled my expectations, could not have been a better fit for my visit. Thank you.

Cabin was nicely furnished and fit me, my husband, our large dog, and 8 month old son very well. Large mostly flat grassy area was perfect for the dog and the baby.
We saw Kevin when we arrived & he was very nice and helpful. After that, we didn’t see a single person for the 3 days we were there.
Saying hi to rusty on the way to the lake was cute and made me laugh. Not a very groomed trail, was nice and easy enough but definitely tripping hazards for anyone with any mobility issues. There is also a large step up into the cabin so bring a sturdy stool if you’re coming with youngins or others who may have a hard time with that.
Fire pit came with racks was great for cooking and keeping warm late at night.
We had a great time in this private off grid cabin, would definitely come back another time !

Lovely, very private, quiet tent-camping spot right on the river. Perfect for launching my kayak for some paddling and swimming. Drinking water and outhouse were a bonus and the sauna before bed with a plunge in the river was an added treat. Easy to find and Beth is a wonderful host! Thanks for an enjoyable and relaxing 3 days.

Lily Pad is a great grassy spot with the woods behind you and a gorgeous view of the lake in front. Marianne is a super kind and helpful host and we felt very welcome. We had a really lovely time and definitely plan to return. :)

I really loved my stay at Marianne's, it was a perfect stay. The property is a beautiful setting on the water, also quiet and relaxing.
We arrived later than anticipated and Marianne was so welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

2 nights at BAM’s Spanish Riviera
We stayed for 2 nights. The cabin was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The mosquitoes were absolutely horrible but both beds came with mosquitoe nets that were 100% needed. We mostly enjoyed relaxing in the cabin due to the intense amount of mosquitoes, but did go out on a canoe one afternoon when we had a nice breeze to keep the mosquitoes at bay. Overall, in spite of the mosquitoes, we had a wonderful stay. Our host Beth, made us coffee and tea and was readily available to answer any questions we had and did her best to make us feel welcome. Overall, the property and host were both excellent.
