Jessica shared the instruction well in advance, When we arrived, Jessica greeted us and gave us a tour of the property. She is super kind and hospitable❤️ The property is very beautiful and well maintained. The tent is warm and cozy, she actually gave us a heated blanket it was nearly freezing that evening She also told me that I can ring her up anytime if we need anything. So sweet of her 🤩 The place is very romantic and we loved it!

The glamping tent was clean, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need — utensils, washroom, tissues, even little touches that made it feel really comfortable. The barn loft upstairs with the string lights was adorable and such a nice place to unwind. We had a great time barbecuing, sitting by the fire pit, and stargazing late into the night. It was peaceful, romantic, and such a refreshing break from city life. Thank you, Jess and Mark, for sharing your beautiful place with us and making our stay so special. Fantastic little well-equipped bunkie with excellent privacy on a quiet and spacious lot! Chris and Denise were wonderful and very easygoing hosts who ensured our group had what we needed and gave us a quick tour of the site before giving us free range for the duration of our stay. The shop has an impressive array of trailers onsite to gander at while there, and the shop building bathroom was a nice luxury to have for group camping. Loved our time there, a very unique spot to spend some time.

It is a great location and close to so many hiking trails like Crawford lake and rattlesnake point. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Heartwood Farm & Cidery

We had a wonderful stay at the Heartwood Cidery. We chose the Spruce Sanctuary which was more secluded and had a private outdoor kitchen with everything you would need. Val was a welcoming host and provided a complimentary flight of ciders upon arrival, (and enjoyed some live entertainment too) Serene property, relaxing, a nice easy get away. Enjoyed meeting the farm animals too! Would recommend staying here :)

This was our second attempt to camp at Shiloh Barn. We needed to cancel our previous booking due to a family matter. Jessica was 100% helpful during the cancelation and rebooking process with me. Thankfully, we rebooked for this weekend. The weather was amazing. The property is beautiful. Well taken care of. Lots of amenities and nice touches for glamping so there isn't too much that you need to pack. The glamping area with the barn and large tent is at the back of the property. Very spacious area that you have all to yourself. Clean, well tended too, and extremely private. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return. Thanks for being great hosts. Our only suggestion would be a picnic table, but we adapted by carrying out the small table at the barn to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Amazing! Jessica what a host! Everything you need for a wonderful evening. We didn’t spend the night however had such a memorable time for my son’s birthday. The barn is amazing and what a place to play. Jessica thank you for coming and helping my un camping like personality light the fire! Rookie at all this stuff and you were absolutely wonderful. Amazing experience. Me and my partner stayed for three days in early September and it was such a cozy and comfortable stay. Is clean private and perfect for people that love the outdoors. Indoor wood fire was a great way to stay warm and made for amazing ambiance. Jake made the experience super easy and I would go back in a heartbeat.

3 nights at Shiloh Barn Glamping

This was a great experience for us and our 2 month old! Our first family camping trip was made much easier by the stocked kitchen, bbq, and a real bed - and the space feels very private. It was certainly cold at night this time of year but lots of blankets available and also made for way less bugs than we were expecting. We went hiking at Starkey Hill close by (free) which is a spot we know and love. Our host was very helpful and responsive and this trip made me feel so grateful people like Jess and Mark share their beautiful and well maintained property with others. I would consider a longer stay in future if there was a shower or a good lake for swimming nearby (not exactly something they can account for, Guelph lake is around but we don’t love swimming in it) but this was perfect for a couple of nights away from all the screens. And new scenery for our baby to cry in LOL. Thanks!

1 night at Happy Buddha Bell Tent

We had an awesome night in the bell tent! It was one of the most secluded sites we've ever stayed at. The tent is set back very far on the property, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. The weaving hiking trails were a great walk in the morning, and the viewpoints along the way were incredible. We'd definitely recommend staying and would love to come back!

"Nourished in Nature" is an accurate way to describe Kathleen's Tiny Tula cabin - it's such a cute and cozy cabin with running water, electricity, fridge, cooking tools, cozy firepit and more to make your getaway from the city so much more comfortable. Kathleen is a warm and friendly host and I enjoyed hearing all about the sweet rescues on the sanctuary! They were all so friendly and it was so relaxing to go out and visit/interact with them everyday during our stay. Would 100% recommend!

Weekend Trip to Nourished In Nature Tula Tiny Cabin

We stayed two nights at the cabin and had an incredible time: on a sunny day the sanctuary looks straight out of a Disney movie, with ducks, pot belly pig, cats, chickens, and shaggy Cindy (resident dog) roaming around. There’s also Angelina the turkey and Hank the goat who we got to meet and love. The cabin is tastefully decorated and very homey. It is like a tiny home, so perfect for a couple or two adults + a kid. Bed is very comfy and we slept well. The stairs up to the bed/loft is more like a steep ladder — if you have mobility issues it may be difficult. The little outdoor sink is perfect for washing up. The outhouse is right beside the cabin so do not need to walk far. The firepit, grounds and stargazing was the best part — we had a fire going both nights. There is a small charcoal grill for use, and electric stovetop inside the cabin. Water is potable via a foot pump. Kathleen was friendly, helpful, quick on communication and also gave us our space — the perfect host. If you love animals this is an ABSOLUTE GEM. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat 💓 thank you for having us!
