Fall brings a whole new dimension to this picturesque community nestled in the Upper Ottawa Valley. The fall foliage, with all its splendor during September and October, offers many opportunities for the camera buff or hiker.
The cabin is set on 100 plus acres of private, mostly forested land and has a beaver pond that creates habitat for many different species of birds and wildlife.
The Bunk House cabin can sleep six guests, with 2 single bunk beds and one single bunk over double bed. The kitchen area is complete with dishes, drink ware, pots, pans, utensils, toaster and coffee pot. A propane BBQ is also made available to our guests. The kitchen comes equipped with a 4 burner propane stove with an oven. A two burner camping stove can also be made available. A wood fired, air tight fireplace for warmth on those cooler nights, provides both comfort and ambiance (wood is provided).
Please note: guests must bring their own bedding/sleeping bag/pillow as we do not provide that.
The cabin is solar powered with a back up gasoline generator.
An outdoor fire pit with seating is close by, as well as an outhouse. Walking trails along the beaver pond and property are maintained for your hiking pleasure. There is ample parking for vehicles and trailers.

You can soak up the sun by the beach, picnic in the shade of our willow trees or try your hand at a game of horse shoes or for the avid fishermen Ferguson Lake has pike, largemouth bass and walleye.
We are a 25-45 minute drive away from Logo’s Land, Calabogie Motorsports Park, 5 golf courses (Dragonfly, Renfrew, Calabogie Highlands, Oaks of Cobden and Whitetail), hiking destinations, ATV trails and numerous other lakes and rivers.

This off grid warm, cozy, roomy and rustic cabin sleeps 6 people comfortably. It is located in Round Lake, Ontario with easy access off Renfrew County Road 58 (Round Lake Road). It is approximately a 25 minute drive to the Basin Lake Access Point of Algonquin Provincial Park and just minutes away from the Killaloe, Hagarty, Richards Township boat launch in the village of Round Lake Centre . Bonnechere Provincial Park, Foy Provincial Park and Cheryl Boyle Park are 2-4 kms away, where sandy beaches and excellent swimming can be enjoyed on pristine Round Lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets at these locations provide the perfect beginning and end to your days. Bring your camera!!
Fall brings a whole new dimension to this picturesque community nestled in the Upper Ottawa Valley. The fall foliage, with all its splendor during September and October, offers many opportunities for the camera buff or hiker.
The cabin is set on 100 plus acres of private, mostly forested land and has a beaver pond that creates habitat for many different species of birds and wildlife.
The Bunk House cabin can sleep six guests, with 2 single bunk beds and one single bunk over double bed. The kitchen area is complete with dishes, drink ware, pots, pans, utensils, toaster and coffee pot. A propane BBQ is also made available to our guests. The kitchen comes equipped with a 4 burner propane stove with an oven. A two burner camping stove can also be made available. A wood fired, air tight fireplace for warmth on those cooler nights, provides both comfort and ambiance (wood is provided).
Please note: guests must bring their own bedding/sleeping bag/pillow as we do not provide that.
The cabin is solar powered with a back up gasoline generator.
An outdoor fire pit with seating is close by, as well as an outhouse. Walking trails along the beaver pond and property are maintained for your hiking pleasure. There is ample parking for vehicles and trailers.

We offer 2 log cabins on a century old farm nestled on Ferguson Lake where you can relax and enjoy swimming, boating and fishing. Each cabin sleeps 6-8 individuals and features a large windowed porch, refrigerator, gas range, microwave, BBQ and is fully equipped to handle your house keeping needs. There are 3 double bunk beds in each cabin and a queen sized bed on the porch. There is running potable cold and hot water in cabin. Although there are NO in-cabin washrooms, we do provide a cabin-dedicated portion of a separate shower and washroom building in very close proximity.
The sandy beach is ideal for children and adults alike to swim and there is a dock for sunning, diving or fishing. We have a raft out in the lake for more experienced swimmers. Along the water’s edge we have plenty of loungers and seating as well as campfire pits with free firewood. You can soak up the sun by the beach, picnic in the shade of our willow trees or try your hand at a game of horse shoes or for the avid fishermen Ferguson Lake has pike, largemouth bass and walleye.
We are a 25-45 minute drive away from Logo’s Land, Calabogie Motorsports Park, 5 golf courses (Dragonfly, Renfrew, Calabogie Highlands, Oaks of Cobden and Whitetail), hiking destinations, ATV trails and numerous other lakes and rivers.

Our 1 night winter stay in the cabin was magical! We appreciated the eco-friendly ash that the host August had spread on the steep parts of the driveway, path and stairs for traction and that the wood stove was already warm to greet us.
Our party of 6 enjoyed a winter hike (challenging), sledding right next to the cabin, and could have skated on the pond if we had stayed longer! Sitting around the campfire with moonlit snow and zero light or noise (other than cowbells from the trio of bovine wanderers!) was truly special.
Winter-weight sleeping bags and hot water bottles were enough to keep us warm thru the night (-15C outside). The rustic cabin was exactly as pictured in the listing and the composting toilet shed was bright and clean.
We would like to come back in the summertime to explore the creek and trails.
Hipcamper tip: pack dishtowels, headlamps, and indoor slippers.

I booked a last minute camping trip with my daughter on Augusts Creekside site Oct 18. He greeted us and oriented us on our arrival. The land is beautiful and the site was very spacious. We had the option of pitching our tent on the platform. We had tons of space for our tent, dog bed, chairs and 'kitchen'. The site also has a large fire pit(tons of wood available) and BBQ. We enjoyed our night so much on this peaceful piece of property we definitely plan to go back🌞 Highlights were the trails (rugged), the creek/waterfall and Roxy the horse who was our neighbor during our stay. August assured us he was just across the road should we need anything. Our phone provider didn't work there (Rogers works there) so it was great to know we didn't need to go far in case of emergency.

This was our 2nd time coming to Iris's property. We've agreed this will be an annual trip for us. Iris is so welcoming and kind. We love getting to chit chat with her during our stay. Her new dog Thunder was an absolute joy to be around. We were lucky to see Sterling again this year as well. You really don't need for much when you stay here. Trailer is very well equipped with the things you'll need to cook meals. Lorwell lake is stunning! Very clear clean water, great for swimming and kayaking. We absolutely love staying here!

This was our second time at the Princeton this summer and we loved it just as much as the first! Way fewer bugs in August compared to June, which was a nice bonus. It’s such a great spot with kids. There was tons to do at the beach, fun trails to explore, and a few play structure options. We also went out on the canoe and paddleboards, which was awesome to have right there to use. The beach on the river offers a sandy area to play and the water is shallow enough for the kids to explore on their own out to the buoys.
The trailer is spacious and has everything we needed for our few days away. The hosts are friendly and responsive, and make sure we have everything we need. Highly recommend for families or anyone wanting a Q peaceful getaway!

We just returned from an incredible stay at this beautiful campsite and couldn’t be happier. The scenery was breathtaking — especially the waterfalls, which were not only gorgeous but so much fun to explore. There were plenty of well-marked trails that made hiking easy and enjoyable for all skill levels.

We had a very relaxing time staying in the Fallsview site! On one side of the site was the road with some trees in between but very little traffic going by so road noise didn’t bother us. On the other side was a flowing creek separating us from the other campsites. We were the only ones there for most of the time so we sat by the creek often to cool ourselves off. The site was very large so would be great for groups but we just pulled our truck camper up to the platform and had the rest of the space to run around with the dog! The best part of the entire stay was the waterfall…1 minute walk from our site, easy to get to if you’re adventurous. With small pools to dip in if it’s hot out. August was friendly and attentive, definitely worth a visit!

The host was awesome — gave us a tour of the property and shared some of its history, which was a nice touch. The place is cozy, private, and well set up. There's a BBQ and a large custom smoker, perfect for outdoor cooking. Although it's off-grid, the host has solar batteries and a generator, so power was never an issue. We really loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Her RV was spotless—clean and cozy. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The peacefulness of the area was exactly what we needed. The quiet surroundings, tucked away by the lake, made it feel like our own private slice of paradise.
We absolutely loved kayaking on the calm lake and swimming in the clear water. And we can’t forget about Thunder—her gentle giant of a dog. He stole our hearts! Such a sweet companion who made the experience even more memorable.
