Your campsite and cabin(s) are nestled a half-km from our home, along a driveable path to the site, as long as the road is clear of ice and snow. You will have total privacy for you and your guests and yours will be the only rental while you are here! There is a main cabin that is set up for two people that comes with your rental. There is also tons of mowed space for other guests to camp, included in the initial booking price, or, if they choose, they can rent our sleep cabin that has room for up to 7 more to sleep in a bed in a cozy cabin. Weekend Trip to Bushwood!

First of all, id like to thank Brian and Jen for welcoming us on to their land. This was a fantasfic experience. Brain ended up meeting us and welcoming us to his area. He then took all of our stuff to site with his side by side. This spot was beautiful, set up extremly well and maintained and very quiet. We had a canoe to use, and although the water is shallow and weedy, a canoe here was a great time. We paddled and explored various islands. Night time the stars we great although the moon was too bright for them to truly shine, we were able to see saturn and its rings using our telescope. On our 4th and final day, brian and i had agreed on a time and he met us, using his side by side once again to cart our stuff back. He even helped us scour the site to make sure we didnt leave anything behind. Overall, it was an acceptional stay and the hospitality and kindness of Brian made it a trip to remember.

Choleena and Larry were the perfect hosts- super helpful, non-intrusive and even told us we could check out at anytime on our last day. The cabin was also great, very clean and well taken care of. Super close to Perth which is a very charming town. We would certainly love to return!

This weekend was absolutely one of the most enjoyable weekends of my summer. It was so nice to unplug, Choleena & Larry ordered and set up an alternative to being able to have a fire during the ban, which was amazing, and it was so private and peaceful. I feel very refreshed and we certainly discussed coming back in the winter to further enjoy what the land has to offer. Not the mention the hosts are very thoughtful and ready to help. Weekend Trip to Little Lake Hideaway

Camping on Kat’s property was amazing! We were a ground of 8 staying in the meadow and it was gorgeous and extremely private. There was another party at one of the other sites and we never even saw or heard them! We were able to take the kayaks out on the pond which was such a nice touch for those to be available for use! They leave lots of fire wood on the site for purchase which was a nice touch so we could help ourselves and enjoy a nice fire! We saw lots of frogs and interesting birds, and we really felt like we were completely off grid. The porta-potty is a pretty standard porta potty, gets the job done and was well maintained. It a short distance down the road from the site and easy to find. Additionally, we ended up having a dead car battery when we went to leave and Kat and Lionel were quick to come help us, and when just a boost wouldn’t cut it they actually took our batteries for a few hours to charge them. We ended up having to leave the car their overnight until we could get a new battery and they were incredibly kind and understanding, even offered us food and drinks and said we could stay over an extra night. The kindness and hospitality they showed to us has definitely gained them return customers! We can’t wait for our next stay with you guys! :)

We had a great experience at The Meadows. The campsite is beautiful, quiet and private with freedom to roam trails and woods. Close enough to amenities, lakes and campgrounds to explore without being surrounded by dozens of other campers. The host, Kat, was super easy to deal with. All around an awesome experience.

We loved our stay apart from the fact that it was very very hot du ring out trip, small curtains in the Windows would definitely help! If we had known, we would have brought something to put in the windows to block the Sun to enter, escpecially in the morning. Everything was clean and there is everything you need for your stay. It's a great peaceful place to enjoy and relax. We appreciated being able to go to the two nearby national parks, Silver Lake and Sharbot Lake. The owners are kind and accessible. Thank you for all, you have a wonderfull place!!! 🥰

This was a great experience. Choleena and Larry were wonderful. The site is fully equipped so that it provides a full outdoor camping out feeling with all the comfort of cabin living. Site was clean and well organized and we had so much fun. Cooking, lounging and star gazing by the fire is a true relaxation. Would highly recommend.

Exactly what we were looking for. Very private. The cabin/bed area was perfect for the two of us. Wooden bundles were already ready for us at the fire pit. Had a covered area to sit at while it rained and we played some games there. Bbq and stove are perfect to cook with. We had a perfect few days at the cabin. Host are very kind and have thought of everything you need and it’s all available for use in the cabin. We will be back.

Exactly the peaceful getaway I needed. Surprisingly few mosquitos. I loved borrowing the canoe and watching the beavers work on their home, the heron fish and the deer come down for a drink. The singing frogs, owl and fireflies made for magical nights. So many water lilies! 😍 I will be back!

Choleena & Larry are fantastic hosts! Their property is amazing, welcoming & has everything you could need or want. We were greeted just as we pulled into the driveway by Larry. He lead us up to the campsite in our vehicle, its an easy & beautiful drive through their property. Everything in the campsite is labeled & there is a great manual that shows you where everything is and how to use it. Weekend Trip to Bushwood!

We spent 4 unforgettable days at Pine Solitude, and it truly lived up to its name. The site is a private, hike-in spot surrounded by water & trees, offering lots of shade & privacy. It comes with a picnic table, fire pit, thunderbox, and even a canoe — perfect for a quiet getaway. Our group of 6 and my dog Cashew had plenty of space for 3 tents, 2 hammocks, and a big tarp that kept us dry during a heavy rain on the last night. Highlights of the trip included stargazing in the dark zone (some of the best night skies we've ever seen), daily campfires, cooking meals together, and mellow canoe rides around the lake, which my dog Cashew especially loved! We played guitar, board games, and tried our luck fishing (no bites, but still fun). The weather was mostly hot & humid during the day but cooled off nicely at night. Even the big rainfall couldn’t dampen our spirits thanks to our tarp setup. We didn’t hear/see anyone else all weekend thanks to the site's privacy and serenity. That said, be prepared for lots of mosquitoes, deerflies & horseflies — nature’s price of admission. Next time we’ll be bringing a bug zapper racket! Huge thanks to our host Brian, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. He transported our gear in and out with his ATV and made sure we had water and firewood when needed. We highly recommend Pine Solitude to anyone looking for a peaceful, off-grid experience. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, reconnect w/ friends, & soak in the beauty of Ontario’s wilderness.

Just got back from the most peaceful getaway hosted by the lovely Chloeena and Larry — and wow, they’ve truly thought of everything! The cabin, the outhouse, the shower… every detail is so well designed and blends right into the natural beauty around you. If you're craving a break from the buzz of daily life, this is the spot to disconnect and soak in the sounds of nature (birds chirping included — free of charge!). It’s the kind of place where your phone takes a backseat, but you still get just enough Rogers signal to check the basics and avoid full-on digital withdrawal. No doomscrolling here — just de-stressing. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, unplug, and enjoy a little peace and quiet with a side of fresh air and forest magic.

**Review for Kat’s Campground - The Meadow** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kat’s Campground, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience. Nestled in nature, this campground offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The spacious grounds provide plenty of room to set up camp, ensuring a comfortable stay without feeling crowded. The natural beauty is truly breathtaking, with lush greenery and vibrant landscapes surrounding you at every turn.
