A small, unassuming cabin located on top of a solid granite rock formation near the village of Tweed, only 10 minutes drive from town but it feels like you're away from it all. If you're looking for a solitude, this is the place.
It is a private cozy cabin situated on top of a hill on a 3/4 of an acre lot which is all granite.
You have to walk up the hill/rock for about 45 seconds from the driveway to get to the cabin, there are some landscaped stairs.
There are 4-5 parking spaces for vehicles.
Its a basic cabin, with a bathroom, kitchen and running water.
Drinking water is provided in an 18L container with an electronic spout/tap for drinking and cooking use during your stay. You can bring your own additional water in containers. The 18L container can be refilled at the local grocery store (10 mins away) for $3.
There is hydro in the cabin, space heaters, interior and exterior lighting, extension cords and lamps.
There is a kitchen with an electric stove, oven, microwave, espresso and coffee makers, kitchen essentials, utensils, pots and pans.
There is a propane BBQ, and a fire pit for your use.
There is ample firewood on site for you to use, and we have a fire permit for the year.
Common use dock and small boat, kayak, canoe launch is about 1 minute walking distance across the street, this dock is on the Moira river which leads into the bigger Stoco Lake.
Vanderwater Conservation area is a few minutes away. There are lots of country roads for biking. The Moira river is great for fishing, paddling and boating.
Cabin has a sofa which converts to a pull-out double bed, one single/twin size bed with fitted sheets, and two rollaway twin size cots. All beds have fitted sheets. You have to bring your own linens, blankets, comforters and pillows. You can also bring sleeping bags and put them on top of the beds if that's your preference.
There is a stereo system with aux-in cables and bluetooth receiver to connect to the headphone jack on your phones to play music.

We really enjoyed the campsite and the overall park was great. From the trails to the dog park, fishing dock, beach area, and clean amenities, the park was well maintained and easy to get around. The host, Monica is fabulous! She is incredibly welcoming and very guest focused - we loved our trip so much that we are likely getting a seasonal site to enjoy the park all season long! The park is very dog friendly, which was a bonus for us and our furry family member. Highly recommend the park for its super homey atmosphere and hidden gems when you're out for an adventure!

Monica is fantastic host. The campsite is clean. The yellow chalet is cute. Each cottage houses have there own personalities. They have the stuff you need for cooking and fire pit. Access to the water is good. Good for swimming boating and fishing. The hiking trails are marked.
Highlly recommended if you like nature away from city noises.

🌲 I had a really great time at this lakeside campground. The spots for tents are spacious and nicely kept — you bring your own tent, which I actually prefer. There are fire pits and BBQ areas that make evenings by the fire feel cozy and memorable. Monika, the host, is super kind and always ready to help with anything, which made the stay even better. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place where you can truly relax and enjoy nature.

What an amazing property! The site was exactly as described. We needed for nothing. Victor brought by brand new camp chairs for us and sweetly asked, "Can I come in?" when he arrived at the site with them. We loved the trails. We spotted a porcupine, a deer, an owl, heard raccoons, beavers and countless frogs and birds. We will be returning!

Weekend Trip to Old-Growth Maple Forest
Warm feels – The host was really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home.
No surprises – The tent was just as it appeared in the photos (always a plus!).
Cozy feels – Extra blankets were produced when the temperature dropped to 0°C. Saviour.
Campfire goals – David had kindling ready for the fire each evening. Complete vibe setter. We were also offered a bottle of wine at the fireplace, how kind.
Breakfast bonus – Home-cooked breakfasts from scratch? Alone, worth the trip.
Garden perks – Had the chance to pick fresh vegetables that they grow in their garden. Yes, please!
Glamp life upgrades – Real toilets + a legitimate shower area = a luxury in the woods. They also have a power outlet inside the tent, which is a big plus.
Hot water hiccup – The hot water heater malfunctioned one day, but they got us up and running again quickly and even offered us a breakfast discount. Tip: Check if the hot water tank works when booking.
Chill zone – Hammock time and well-spaced tent sites = chill time.
Booking heads-up – Prices may vary slightly (between $ 65-100 CAD) across booking platforms, so compare them before making a reservation. The host and Hipcamp couldn't help recoup the difference.
Final takeaway – Seriously, this house gets glamping right. So comfy, thoughtful little touches all over the place, and just the perfect combination of rough + cozy.

Wonderful tent camping site. Victor has gone above and beyond most other campsite operators providing a lovely wooded campsite with an elevated tent platform, great firepit, firewood as well as fire starter and kindling, potable water, propane bbq, screened dining tent, countertop for food prep, all in a private woodland setting yet within walking distance to hot shower and flush toilet. This is our second visit this summer to Tiny Village Woodlands. Such a nice park! Very clean and well cared for. We loved this site. It is a large site, with good privacy. It has an upper and lower level which is right on the water. The incline between the levels is steep, which may not work for some but was fine for us. Monica is a great host, very friendly and accessible if you need anything. We have nothing but good things to say about our visit.

Amazingly private. There's a rec centre and rental cottage also on the property but out of sight and ear shot of the campsite. Convenient bathroom with a shower at the rec centre within a 1-2 min. walk. Victor was a great host and provided everything we needed. Had a fun paddle boat ride on the lake and loved hiking the long private trails. Some sections of the trails are tricky. Looking forward to spending a week there next summer.

My partner and I stayed one night and were surprised by the quality of the campsite and amenities were. Victor and Paul were very kind and welcoming. It was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back, hopefully for longer than one night.

Loved the private camp site. Just big enough for our tent and seating by the campfire. Close walk to the lake and my kids really like the floating mat and water trampoline. We had fun playing volleyball and badminton. Great little camp ground.
