Stay here for a day or a week, this off-grid little resort has all the necessities that one would need, and make you want to come back again!
We are excited to offer 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. 20 min to Parry Sound. These cabins are located within 75 acres of forest. Each cabin features either two single beds or one king-size bed. Cabins are insulated but have no heat so bring own pillows, blankets and sleeping bags. Accommodation is limited to two adults per cabin.
Common areas for all cabins include:
1) Outdoor Kitchen (includes pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils etc.),
2) Freezer/Fridge,
3) BBQ,
4) Indoor Shower (hot and cold water),
5) Outdoor Shower (hot and cold water) and
6) Toilet/Outhouse with running cold water.
The large BBQ is equipped with 5 burners for the grill. There is also 1 side pot burner for foiling water and another ceramic grilling burner.
Additionally, we have three tent spots available, with one designated for each cabin. There is ample parking space for guests. You can enjoy the convenience of a shower with hot water and a BBQ pit.
Address is 261 Star Lake rd. Seguin. Its the second driveway when going north on Star lake rd. Look for a sign MAPLE RIVERS LANE.
From Hwy 400, get off on hwy 141. Go east towards Rosseau. Turn left at Tally Hoe/Swords, then right at Turtle lake rd and left at Star lake rd.
Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. A beautiful Maple Key Park and sandy beach awaits you only 4 km from the site. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the nearby historic town of Orrville.

4) Absolutely no candles allowed, (if desired please use insents only!)
5) Parties allowed only upon verbal consent from the management,
6) We have no cleaning fee so please keep your cabin neat and tidy.
7) Before checkout please place all garbage in and around the cabin into main bin located beside the outdoor kitchen.
8) Cabin floor should be swept using broom provided in the cabin.

It was a great spot to pitch a tent and unwind after a few days of fishing some Haliburton lakes. Easy to get to and Jennifer was a great and helpful host. The location is very scenic with the marsh and pond nearby and beautiful tall woods surrounding the site. We didn't get to meet Jennifer (we were too busy fishing all day) but she kept in contact and provided firewood as needed. The only downside I could think of was the barbecue on site didn't seem to have any propane, which was no big deal. We brought our own and actually didn't even know there would be one provided. The outhouse was a bit rustic, but for two guys living off the land it was a luxury to have a toilet at all. Lol. Would definitely go back!

Our stay at the Robyn's nest was very enjoyable! Ronald and Robyn are great, friendly hosts that have maintained a beautiful property. Not only have they provided a fully functional washroom on site, but they take the time to clean it regularly. There are also many things to do nearby. We will definitely be back to spend more time here!

Second time up to Maple Rivers Log cabins, Sequin, Parry Sound. Was there last year. Cabin 3, Dariusz,s 3 cabins are set in a beautiful, serene setting surrounded by a mixed forest, of pines, maples, Birch..., they are off grid, nicely spaced , in the center a large community fire pit. Trails to follow to a deep gorge, shower, large fridge freezer to share with fellow hip camper,s, Large BBQ, outdoor sink, kitchen area to wash dishes. Some dishes to use. Garbage container. Pit toilet never smells. The host's friendly dog "Daisy" comes to play fetch with balls or sticks., Maple lake is 20 mins away as is Orrville general store. And Rousseau. Dariusz is very friendly host always willing to answer questions, fix any concerns. His wife is of great help as well. I highly recommend Maple Rivers Log Cabins, and will keep going back. Thank you Dariusz for your hospitality. Thanks for your company Daisy girl. And Tito, Daisy will teach you well. Blessings

I loved my stay at the cabin! Although there is no electricity from the grid, Dariusz uses propane and solar cells to equip the camp with a fridge/freezer, hot water, and light, which I really liked. I loved Daisy, their female Border Collie; she protects the visitors during the nights by sleeping under one of the cabins, and she is a lovely companion during the day! Bring a ball, she loves playing with other dogs with the ball. My dog and I really enjoyed our week there: fresh air, quiet and rustic place, lots of hiking opportunities around, and off-leash walks/play on the property. Will definitely return next year.

Easy directions. Flat site to camp on after a short steep hill access.

Right across the road from a beach where you can swim and a white water racecourse where you can watch people playing, and or racing in the rapids.
A clean washroom as well.
I short drive in to town makes it one of the best places I’ve camped.

What a treasure! From such a warm welcome by Ronald and his wife, the beauty of the land that we camped on and the raved about bathrooms (yes they are soo clean!)
Hubby and I wanted to stay longer as this HipCamp is nested between Horseshoe Lake and Minden's Wild Water Preserve- literally at the end of the driveway!
Lots of activities /games available on property for you to use at your leisure.
The ambiance from the rapids was dreamy

This site is perfect for those passing through Halliburton, or just wanting a getaway from the city and connecting with nature.
I only stayed 1 night with my biker friends, so we rode to the site. Site is extremely easy to find, and we are just a short trip to the main town for groceries or restaurants.
The night time is where it really brings out the beauty of this site. The trees make a perfect vignette to the night sky, and we spent HOURS stargazing.
Our host Jennifer was a saint! She’s super responsive!
The only rough part was riding through the gravel/dirt roads, but that is nothing to be worried about. If you’re a good rider, you’ll manage.

we loved tent camping at robyn’s nest, great campsite and slim shady is highly recommended (and not just because of the name). bathrooms were clean and the lake was just a stones throw away from the site, with a easy access boat launch. 10/10 would book again!

It was an amazing getaway weekend!!!
Ronald and wife are very accommodating and friendly, they don’t mind spending time just to check if guest are all good and having fun!
Very clean, quiet, and washroom is well maintained, Area is just a walking distance from lake and river. You’ll never get board in the camp site, they set up plenty of activity that all ages can play with, mini park for kids as well,
Highly recommended and planning to be back soon!!!

Robyn’s nest is one of the best camping sites so far. Both couple are very accommodating, kind and they’re always making sure we’re doing well in our site.
The washroom is well maintained, clean and smells good. So many fun activities/games they prepared to make your day fun and enjoyable experience.
The site are just a few minutes walk down the beautiful, calm Lake and Stunning Running water River that you surely gonna enjoy the cool water from the river.
I definitely recommend the Robyn’s nest to my friends to come and visit the site.

We went camping for the weekend at Robyn’s Nest with our dog and it exceeded our expectations. It is a great location, with the water just across the road as well as the rapids. You are still minutes to the town as well for any last minute items you may need. Robyn and Ron were so kind, coming around each morning and evening to ensure everyone had everything they needed and check in on how everyone’s stay was going. There was plenty of lawn games, privacy between all the sites and the bugs were not bad at all! The bathrooms were a great addition as well, very clean and well maintained. We would definitely come back to Robyn’s nest! Thanks again Robyn and Ron for your hospitality - you guys are great! ☺️

This cabin is exactly what I needed. Just a slight glamp in the middle of the trip allowed me to reset and these cabins were perfect for it. There is no electric here of any sort so don’t plan on plugging anything in.
Simple yet so much more fun than setting up a tent. Again. Bravo

Hidden gem! Dariusz was very quickly with responses, last minute we booked 2 cabins and both were incredible, there’s everything you can need here if you are unprepared, it’s quiet and even a friendly dog comes by every now and then, very nice dog and listen very good if you see the dog throw a stick, it loves fetch. Clean cabins, the outhouse was very clean as well. Highly recommend going here if you’re looking for a quiet but convenient get away. About 10 mins away is maple lake which had public access and you should go to as well!

We had a blast at our unique camp site. The hosts were absolutely lovely. Ron met us upon arrival and brought us to our site. Was very peaceful and private. There were lots of games to partake in as a family. Was able to swim just across the st. The water was clear and
