The dome comfortably sleeps two, but guests are welcome to bring others and pitch a tent nearby. Important Air Conditioning Note Because the dome is made entirely of glass, sunlight warms the interior during the day. As a result, the space tends to stay warm (not hot) even with air conditioning running and won’t cool as much as a traditional insulated room. However, on cloudy days and evenings with little sunlight, the dome feels quite cool. The 3-ton air conditioning unit and fans circulate air and help reduce heat, but when the sun is shining, it won’t get cold inside. Thank you for understanding and enjoying the unique atmosphere of this beautiful glass dome!

Welcome to Laurenwood Farm! New for 2024: Due to health reasons the farm is fallow this season. It is still a quiet, peaceful escape to the country and you can enjoy all of the amenities but there will be no veggie boxes this season and there are fewer animals to visit. We do have some items available such as honey and syrup. The farm is a 100-acre working livestock and organic mixed produce farm with picturesque views, miles of wooded trails, and a beautiful little fish pond. Fresh organic veggies and farm-fresh eggs are available seasonally. Guests are welcome to wander the trails, check out the pond and gardens, and have a guided tour to experience meeting the animals. Nearby are several conservation areas and access to the Bruce Trail. Walking, biking or horseback riding is very pleasant on the quiet country roads around. There are many local fairs and festivals in the surrounding villages, such as the Beeton Honey Festival and Tottenham Bluegrass Festival. Welcome to Cedar Creek Forest Camping! Voted second best campsite in Canada in 2021 and ranked number 2 in Ontario in 2022. I have 97 acres of very private camping. The forest is a bird watcher’s and nature lover’s paradise. I have developed miles of flat groomed trails and a 3-acre pond (plus several bush ponds). The sites are spread around the pond and are close but not right beside it. There is an abundant amount of wildlife to explore: birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects and mammals call this home. There is a small swimming hole on the island but otherwise the pond is full of aquatic life. The sites and trails are maintained all year long and the forest is quiet and beautiful. I have planted over 3000 trees with the help of the Severn Sound Environmental Association. The forest is registered as a managed woodlot with the province and habitat preservation/restoration is the priority goal. Please DO NOT bring firewood for your visit. I have large bags of cured firewood that was sustainable harvested from the forest available. Invasive insects and disease can be transferred from imported wood. Guests are welcome to quietly explore the forest trails but are asked to stay on the trail. Many birds and animals nest in the forest. My campsite is family-friendly (and pet-friendly), and 420 friendly too. Guests can easily drive up to and park at all campsites. My camp site is tolerant and respectful of all humans, animals and things. The Yurtle structures were built from Hemlock trees that were cut from this forest and processed into boards, then engineered into unique camping huts. Large windows capture the glory of the surrounding forest and sun sets, while wood stoves warm campers on those cold days/nights. Guests are asked to remove excessive garbage and recycling when possible. Thanks for viewing and visiting, cheers and peace, Dave

For outdoor enthusiasts, you’ll find countless walking trails, scenic golf courses, and the beautiful Jackson’s Point Beach nearby—providing plenty to explore and enjoy. At the dome, you also have access to a full-size beach badminton court and classic horseshoe pits, perfect for friendly competition and outdoor fun for all ages. After an active day, return to your cozy dome, where peaceful privacy, natural views, and soothing lighting await. Experience the ideal balance between adventure and relaxation—all just minutes apart. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped bathroom with shower and a functional kitchen for preparing meals in comfort. A plush leather loveseat invites you to unwind after a day of exploring, while elegant laminate floors add a stylish touch. Air conditioning keeps you comfortable no matter the weather.

75km from Beaverton · 7 sites · Tents, RVs, Lodging · Loretto, ON
Welcome to Laurenwood Farm! We have three different listings, a cottage, a barn loft, and a tent/RV site. We look forward to hosting you!
