Nestled in the trees on a large deck with the sounds of birds and squirrels all around, this unique structure spans 15 ft across with 14 triangular sides. It holds a double bed, dinning table, rocking chair, 3 burner stove, sink with water, full kitchenette and all the cooking utensils you need. The wood stove keeps the space very warm and cozy and we offer professional massage and reiki. You can walk, ski or bike for hours along a river. Or visit towering gypsum cliffs that host huge bat caves..
Our yurt is tucked away in the trees of our 20 acre wood lot. We provide lots of wood and fire starter for the wood stove but guests should have experience with wood stoves (or be really keen to learn). The stove is big enough to easily heat the whole yurt to cozy comfort but guests should expect to have to keep the stove going in order to keep the space warm and this may mean stoking it once in the night. We provide lots of extra blankets and two pairs of extra slippers for those who forget to bring their own. The solar panel creates enough power to run the lights, charge a cell phone and sometimes a computer but not much more.
The space is beautiful, unique and quite dreamy but it is rustic. There is a composting toilet next to the yurt (with hand sanitizer but no sink) and outdoor showers (with hot water) near our farm house. There is a three burner propane cook stove, cooking and dining wares and a small sink for dishes. There are all the utensils that you may need to cook for yourself but there is limited counter space so cooking elaborate meals is possible but could be cumbersome. There is a cooler and we can stock it with ice packs upon request. We supply coffee and a french press,.
We also offer massage and reiki to guests for $90 (60 min). Morghain Lee is a massage therapist and Reiki Master and enjoys blending these two body therapies for a holistic healing experience.
There is an outdoor fire pit and star gazing chairs. We ask that you only use natural soaps in the shower, the sink, pond or river. We have some Dr Bronners if you like:)
Cell reception on the land depends on the provider but most people have weak service (one or two bars). Enough to maintain a phone connection (if you are not walking around too much) but not enough to download videos. Some people have more or less.
We do allow pets but we ask for an extra $15 contribution to compensate for the extra cleaning. We also ask that dogs not be on the bed and that they don't chase our chickens or kittens.
There are outdoor showers available in spring, summer and fall when the pipes won't freeze. For those wanting to stay for longer periods in the winter we can discuss usage of the shower in our house.

The camping site is located a short walk through our blackberry patch back into the woods. From your campsite, there is a small stream down the hill. We have chickens, turkeys, Guinea fowl, ducks, goats, and pigs. You’re more than welcome to come up and say hello. The pigs are happy to greet anyone, especially if you bring a snack. It is a 10-minute drive to Kennetcook, where you can get ice cream at Summertime Treats. Our area boasts many atv trails as well as a mountain biking park just up the road in Gore. There is also a gas station/convenience store/nslc a 4-minute drive in the other direction in Rawdon Gold Mines. 30-minute drive to Windsor and about 25 minutes to Elmsdale.

Parked just off the road away from the house and parallel to the paved road. Not much traffic so pretty quiet. Access to the Bay of Fundy was about a quarter mile down the road and access to the lighthouse was about 4 miles in the opposite direction toward Walton.

Absolutely gorgeous view from our campsite on Dan's land. Very private and peaceful. Dan was there to great us which was very helpful in getting set up. We have a 29FT trailer and it was a bit challenging to level on the sloped lot but Dan provided lots of lumber pieces to help level our trailer. The campsite had a fire pit with firewood and a brand new outhouse! Highly recommend Dan's Fraserville property to camp if youre looking for privacy and gorgeous views. Also a bonus is its only 10 minutes to Advocate which has gas bar and groceries and restaurant.

Nice site, easy to find. Instructions were very clear. I went on a very wet day and the ground was surprisingly not too muddy. Tons of space for a tent or 2, flat ground. Felt private despite being close to the road. Fire wood provided and chairs which is a nice touch.

This was one of the most beautiful and well maintained campsites I've ever been to! Tons of firewood provided plus kindling, and the camp toilet was super clean and a nice added luxury. Dan was very responsive when I had questions. I had a great view of the moonrise and a peaceful quiet night. Saw some deer and a bald eagle in the morning! I would absolutely come back.

The view is amazing. The location is so peaceful and private. We were there last year and the new outhouse this year is top notch, as far as outhouses go :-). Dan had left firewood and kindling and having the newly added picnic table and fire pit made everything even more perfect. There are 'touristy' things nearby, should you prefer, or staying at the site and exploring the beach is super relaxing too. We like to cook for ourselves but we did indulge in some yummy takeout from 10 minutes away one afternoon. Lots of cool hikes, wilderness areas and geosites nearby. It's a really sweet spot! Dan is super responsive and I've only had very pleasant interactions with him. Highly recommend 👌

Richard met us when we arrived and showed us around. There is a beautiful trail through the woods. The lake view is stunning. There was a canoe for our use. The dogs loved it too. Firewood was provided. The site is very large with its own porta potty. We highly recommend this site if you want a peaceful getaway.

I loved taking our 13ft boler travel trailer to Marks land for the weekend. We had a beautiful view of the lake with water access. We took our own Kayaks but we didn’t need to there were a variety of kids and a larger kayak and a very large canoe and a paddle board there for use. There were life jackets and some fishing poles and assorted paddles kept in the building. A couple of chairs, hammock, a large picnic table and fire pit were available. There is a floating swimming raft that we paddled to and used for swimming. We liked watching the “Common Tern” bird flying over the lake and watching it dive into the lake to catch small fish. There was a Loon that came in the evening to fish right in front of us as well. It was very private and quiet, it’s a forested surrounding with tall trees. The ground was done with gravel, which was nice and there was even small wild blueberry bushes. The bathroom was new and very clean looking with lots of toilet paper, there was a sink on the outside of the outhouse that you could place a jug of water and some soap too easily wash your hands after. The lake is a good size, shallow and rocky but with nice clear water and some pretty Lilly pads. We paddled over to a large island and found a spot to have a picnic lunch where someone had a camping spot there on the island it had a fire pit and bench seats which was a neat find. Mark was great communicator and the instructions were good. We had no issues the whole time we were there.

Incredibly sweet and secluded! The campsite was clean, spacious, and the amenities (outhouse, table, firewood) were great. If you’re looking to cozy up in the trees with 100% privacy, this is the spot.
