Or visit towering gypsum cliffs that host huge bat caves.. Our yurt is tucked away in the trees of our 20 acre wood lot. We provide lots of wood and fire starter for the wood stove but guests should have experience with wood stoves (or be really keen to learn). The stove is big enough to easily heat the whole yurt to cozy comfort but guests should expect to have to keep the stove going in order to keep the space warm and this may mean stoking it once in the night. We provide lots of extra blankets and two pairs of extra slippers for those who forget to bring their own. The solar panel creates enough power to run the lights, charge a cell phone and sometimes a computer but not much more. The space is beautiful, unique and quite dreamy but it is rustic. There is a composting toilet next to the yurt (with hand sanitizer but no sink) and outdoor showers (with hot water) near our farm house. There is a three burner propane cook stove, cooking and dining wares and a small sink for dishes. There are all the utensils that you may need to cook for yourself but there is limited counter space so cooking elaborate meals is possible but could be cumbersome. There is a cooler and we can stock it with ice packs upon request. We supply coffee and a french press,. We also offer massage and reiki to guests for $90 (60 min). Morghain Lee is a massage therapist and Reiki Master and enjoys blending these two body therapies for a holistic healing experience. There is an outdoor fire pit and star gazing chairs. We ask that you only use natural soaps in the shower, the sink, pond or river. We have some Dr Bronners if you like:) Cell reception on the land depends on the provider but most people have weak service (one or two bars). Enough to maintain a phone connection (if you are not walking around too much) but not enough to download videos. Some people have more or less. 1 night at Glamping Dome Near Peggy’s Cove

The dome was beautiful! We had such a wonderful time. It was picturesque and peaceful. All amenities were as shown in the posting. It was clean and cosy. The sauna was a nice touch and easy to operate. Our hosts were on hand if we had any issues and their communication was brilliant. We loved our short stay and can't wait to go again!

We spent three nights in the Eager Beaver cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed . The shower in the cabin was not hooked up yet, but the near by outdoor shower was a very unique experience which we enjoyed. We were surrounded by beautiful scenery and the sounds of nature. We Paddleboarded on the lake and my husband went for a refreshing swim, i was not as adventurous as him. My favorite thing about this place is the unobstructed view of the sky from the peak which was an amazing place to view the stars and look at the sky at night. We had a relaxing stay and plan to return in the fall.

We loved Tanya and John's hospitality! The place is absolutely magnificent 👌 it was a pleasure to enjoy nature at its best, and the dome,,,, well,, you have to visit to see for yourself 🙈💖 It was a wonderful opportunity to stay in the woods, while living in an upscale hotel room. They have thought of everything and the amenities were well planned and thoughtful. We will choose this place again and again.💚💚

Weekend Trip to Glamping Dome Near Peggy’s Cove

Beautiful spot. Really pretty mossy forest to admire at the front of the dome and a large green grassy area at the entrance perfect for kids and pets. And the dome itself had everything we could need and more. It was impeccably clean as well. Great bed and electric fireplace to stay warm too. Will definitely be back!

Amazing experience. Exceeded my expectations. The host added so many little details that made it extra cosy and comfortable. Love the solar lights thru the woods. The labels and instructions were appreciated. Highly, highly recommend. I think this may become a yearly retreat for me
