Very quiet and peaceful, only tent camper, whole place to myself, staff are very friendly and helpful will def stay again . Good spot if you want real rustic camping

I would still recommend a stay at Breezy Peddles, I can not rate this site specifically. Yun was very helpful in accommodating me switching sites due to my tent being off the tailgate of my vehicle. This is very much a tenting site, as the wooden bridge is the only way to get to it. Yun is very welcoming, and even contacted me when I left some USB charging cables there. So though I don't have much to say about the site, I can recommend Breezy Peddle.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Breezy Petals. The dome was lovely - spacious, comfortable (especially during the much-needed rainstorm), and had everything we needed. Yun is an incredible host - we loved every minute.

A satisfactory first time camping

This was my first attempt at camping out with my own tent while roadtripping to Nova Scotia. It was a good experience! Shower and toilet was available, and it was a regular flush, surprisingly. Unfortunetaly for my 3-person tent, the nails cannot go through the wooden platform, so I installed it on the side. If you're Glamping or using the already available tents on-site, it might be a better experience due to bugs, since this has 2 ponds around. Overall, for a first time, I was satisfied! I just hope that the "Bois Road" that takes you to there ends up soon being paved, because that is one dusty unpaved road. At least the site is distant from it, so it's no problem!

It looks like it would have been a really nice camp ground when they made it but doesn't seem like it's been given the care required to maintain. The wooden walkway to and from the campsite is broken pallets which continue to fall apart and is frankly a hazard. The deck you pitch your tent on isn't much better shape. Site is overgrown in areas where you'd expect to see it cut back. Domes are showing wear and scuffs marks on their exterior. Also the map of camp is deceiving on here; as when you get to camp you realize there is very little privacy between you and other sites and you're very exposed... Everyone we encountered was friendly and it is a beautiful bit of land. It really wouldn't take much work to upgrade and maintain it's appearance but the little effort it required is not cared to be done. If the owner is reading this - please change the pallet walkways and tent platform; someone is going to get hurt.

Beautiful campground. Clean bathrooms and washrooms. My son enjoyed the gaming room and made some friends along the way. I definitely will remommend this camping ground. We will be back.

Site 2 - Tenting Site

Overall, the site was fine. However, the pictures and the map drawing of the site make your site seem like it’s very private when you are actually out in the open around a shallow, stagnant pond, there is no privacy from any of the other campsites unlike the pictures, suggest the site that you book isn’t actually available necessarily and you’ll just take one of the open spots around the stagnant pond, thankfully there was no one else staying as we brought our dogs and I would’ve felt bad if they had been barking at other people walking by all night, which is unfortunate because I booked the spot thinking that it was private. The campground overall gives the vibe that someone put a lot of time and work into it at one point and now has just let it sit and Done no maintenance. There was a Board walk to get to the camp that was half broken half pallets it would be better to rip it all out and walk in a bit of water. I don’t know why they were there. The Glamping tents that took up a portion of the tenting platforms were ripped and falling down, which just looked gross and our tenting platform that we used had broken boards where you would sink in a bit. The bathroom is a questionable box that doesn’t look clean. overall probably won’t be back in less me, and all of my friends want to book out the campsites as there is zero privacy in between them. The park and other amenities like mini putt are disgusting and rundown. I would not advise to bring your children here.

Yun has a beautiful piece of land with little ponds. She has an outdoor kitchen, complete with dishes, which was so nice! She was very responsive and helpful. It was such a beautiful little place and I would go back for sure!!

We had a wonderful time at this site! Yun gave us a place to stay pre-season, had some snow and cold weather but site was accessible. The area has a lot to see, and Yun even has a put put course! Would love to stay here again in the summer.

Amazing weekend retreat

This was the most amazing weekend retreat! The domes are so spacious and comfortable. I was shocked that they had power, a mini fridge and a private bathroom with a shower. For anyone looking for a relaxing retreat this is my #1 recommendation!! Great work

Excellent night of "glamping"!

My family and I stayed at one of the camping domes at Breezy Petals for a night in August, and had a fantastic time. The dome itself was well equipped and clean. The on-site amenities were well kept, including the shared outdoor kitchen. This was the first time we've tried a "glamping" dome, and would not hesitate to do it again. We did initially have issues with the hot water, but a quick text message to the owner and she was on site in minutes to rectify the problem. For those looking for a bit of outdoor living mixed with some creature comforts, I highly recommend paying Breezy Petals a visit!

Dome of disappointment

While the host and staff are very responsive and amenities thoughtful, our reservation was changed by the host and I did not get the dome we reserved. This led to not having a waterfront, decent furniture (chairs were low camp chairs that are not comfortable to use) and instead were put in a new, unfinished, not fully functioning dome. The door was not hung correctly so didn’t close/lock well. Our power went out several times and alarms went off at 5 am each morning. We had no hot water for showering. The propane was missing from the kitchen so we couldn’t cook as planned. This camp has some potential and I applaud the efforts of off-grid services. The domes are extremely close together so there is no privacy. I wouldn’t consider this for romantic couples but maybe for families with kids. Positives include roomy modern geodesic domes, location is close to cool adventures and the host is hard working and resourceful. I was just shocked at the treatment I received on site. We were extremely disappointed with this first attempt at using Hipcamp.

A truly unique experience

I stayed one night while traveling through Novascotia on my motorcycle. Yun's land was remote and provides a unique experience that I really enjoyed. I got to have a hot shower and slept comfortably and quietly at my tent site. The following morning I was fortunate enough to meet Yun, who so kindly took the time to come meet me and have a chat. She is an impressive woman and has a vision for how she wants to develop her land. Definitely worth visiting if you have the opportunity.

Very nice little campground in East Hants! The twin ponds surrounded by glamping domes makes for a very surreal and interesting experience. We had a few sightings of a beaver who lived on the property which was amazing. Was given access to the kitchen, bathrooms, and showers - however expected the showers to be a little bigger than they were. We had a very enjoyable stay, the host was very nice, very accommodating, and always asked to see if we needed anything.

There’s no words to describe how perfect the weekend was. The host was very thoughtful, helpful and sweet. The atmosphere was clean, well laid out and organized. Highly recommend the spot for their domes and tent camping. Being able to catch fresh rainbow trout was amazing to top it all off. I look forward to returning. Thanks a million!

We loved the dome and the area a lot. Neat and clean inside the dome with sweet small details. Mini golf field and table soccer brought kids much fun. The open kitchen is convenient and with different cooking supplies. Very peaceful and relaxing stay.

We stayed at Breezy Petals for two nights while traveling in Nova Scotia. Glamping in a dome was a great experience. Comfortable with a beautiful view. The campsite is clean and quiet and Yun is a great hostess. I highly recommend it.

Great camping/beautiful property!

We had a lovely stay at Breezy Petals!! Check in was great and we appreciated the extra security of a key fob to let us in the front gate. Through use of a lockbox it was a super easy checkout as well. Yun was the best host and was very relaxed with check out times and allowing us to move the fire pit/picnic table as needed. There is a family of beavers not ten feet away from the site- was SO cool! The solar lights everywhere were fantastic. The dome available for public use was so cool- as well as a playground with a trampoline! My friend is excited to come back with her kiddos, very family friendly, but as two adults we had a great time as well! The outdoor kitchen and bathrooms were another great touch. Despite tenting it we felt more like we were glamping thanks to the amenities. Fantastic trip!!

Outback Retreat - Couple Dome for 2

The Breezy Pedals dome was such a relaxing experience. We had a dome for 4 people, and a beautiful view of the pond. We played in the games some with our children and played games at night. It was nice there was a full bathroom in the unit and a heater to keep us warm. The owner Yun was lovely and very accommodating! Such a wonderful place, we will be back!
