Short drive of only 20 minutes to Cape Breton Island and Antigonish and an easy 2 hour drive from Halifax Airport. Peace and Quiet await you and a really cute cabin with covered porch to enjoy a beverage with a first class seat to gorgeous sunsets. This 160 sq. ft. double lofted cabin sleeps two comfortably on a double size bed, but there is room for up to four. It has Power, Internet WIFI, a TV,Double Bed (bring your sheets), Picnic Table, Firepit, Parking for up to 2 vehicles. Just 5 km is the Bayside Centre open until midnight, that has Tim Horton's, Mary Brown's, Gas Station, NSLC (liquor store). Also the Reserve is 5 km away to get all your party needs. Another 5 km is a Robin's coffee shop with an Electric Vehicle Charging Station, Petro Canada, another NSLC, bakery goods, ice cream, chip truck etc. Everything you need is within 5 kms. Beaches to name a few you have Myette Beach, Bayside Beach, Ferry Beach, Cape Jack Beach, they go on and on and are the some of the warmest waters in Nova Scotia.

It's super quiet and the only sound is the wind and the very occasional car (like one a day). Five minute walk to the ocean. 15 kms to the nearest store. I'm located at the end of Richard's Pond Lane. To get here, go to South Side Road, South Side River Bourgeois. Turn right on Richard's Pond Lane and follow it to the end. This 5 acre private campsite is located right off highway 316 very close to Tor Bay Provincial Park, which offers a lovely beach and trails. Basin Brook Camp features a driveway quickly leading to a flat area suitable for a trailer or tents. The property overlooks a wilderness area with stunning sunsets. It has a cleared area in which blackberries, raspberries and blueberries grow. At the back of this cleared area is a marked trail leading to the shoreline on Gammons Basin. Along one side of the campsite land is Basin Brook, which is a tidal stream that can be accessed easily by the road. Deer have been seen on the property. Basin Brook Camp is quiet and secluded with no neighbours in sight.

We loved camping here ! It was peaceful, quiet and so serene by the lake. Our dog loved swimming here - we would have gone in too if warmer temp . Very clean lot, all went smoothly and directions were clear. When we reached out to Jason to inquire on dumping spot location, he was very quick to kindly respond. Would recommend this camping spot to anyone looking to relax in an open lovely quiet lot.

The Ripped Hippies camper was great for our overnight stay near Salt Springs, NS. A quiet, wooded area with nice trails to walk the dogs. The hosts were helpful and respectful of our privacy while staying there. The camper was warm and clean with plenty of fresh spring water for our use. A lovely spot for a tranquil spring vacation.

Chris and his mother have a wonderful campground with spectacular ocean views. Plenty of room to camp; either tenting or RVing. Chris greeted us on arrival and was very helpful and friendly! Provided a lot of information on things to do and see. Chris brought over some fresh eggs! Unexpected, but gracious! Thanks Chris. The campground is still recovering from some storm damage, but there are plenty of sites right on the water. It was great to see Chris improving the sites, cleaning out brush and making improvements to the camping area. Can't wait to return and see the next round of improvements! And don't forget to ask Chris about his family history in the area. Our dogs were happy to roam free and safely on the property Thanks for hosting us Chris!

Really liked this place, very peaceful, owners Linda and Darren were amazing, super friendly and helpful. This is a new camp site, so there's still work to be done, but if it all goes to plan this place will be exceptional! Cell phone coverage is excellent here, something missing at other sites for sure. Also, they roast their own coffee and it tastes wonderful!! Custom made to order too! The owners welcome any feedback at all, and are clearly striving to make this place perfect, personally I just want the coffee roasting hut finished!! Only downside is the road in, not much fun! However, the owners have no control over that, and now winter is almost over, hopefully that gets fixed.

Connecting with nature, watching for wildlife, hunting, and many other activities await at this 25 acre property. The land is perfect for recreational use and off-grid use, including tent and RV camping. Note the entrance grass may be grown in so please prepare to walk to the site through the trees. Topographically, the terrain is more or less level throughout, the site is forested throughout in maturing spruce, tamarack, pine, maple birch and poplar trees. A small brook runs along the westerly boundary and continues East and North to the Mull River and Mabou River. There is also a large portion of Crown land bordering the southern end of this parcel. This quiet region has remained pretty well unchanged over the years. Highway 19 and the Atlantic Ocean are only minutes West via Alpine Ridge Road. The area is surrounded by forest covered hills, rolling farm land and valleys dissected by dozens of streams. Enjoy the quiet country setting of this property, while still living within minutes of nearby towns and all necessary amenities. Rectangular in shape, this lot offers ample road frontage... 572.4 feet or 174.5 meters, along the gravel surfaced Alpine Ridge Road, providing excellent year round access. Galla Designs Studio is located on a lovely 22 acre farm on the oceanfront, 5 km from the ferry. It featurs a beautiful artisans storefront with over 60 local artisans, food items and coffee. It is also home to the Belle River Post office. Please let us know if you need to arrive after 8pm. Please see parking instructions as there is no turn around in the main driveway. Also - the island has mosquitos so please bring bug spray. WIFI is available at the store. Please no generators from 10pm-8am (some exceptions may apply). To find us Google maps sometimes does not like wood Islands as our city so please use Belle River. About 50m just west of our main entrance to the farm and store, you will see a farm road that is marked with "1167 FARM" address sign. Please use that road to come in and just after the little wooded section it will open up and you will see a picnic table to your right. You can park in there. If you need help with anything, just call my cell phone 902-326-1015 Please note that there could be another camper if booked, so please park accordingly. Store is located in the small white barn next to the white house. The black building nearest the camp area is my parents house - not the store, so plesae do not walk in there. ;) lol **Google road and satellite photos are very old

Located on the end of The Ledges peninsula, Marie Joseph, Nova Scotia, we have 5 acres of woodland on a raised lot, with around 1 acre cleared. This can be used for camping on the cleared lot with a number of tents, or park a caravan on a level parking area. The lot looks directly out onto the ocean, with Turner Island and Goose Island around 1km from shore, which form natural breaks from the open ocean. The lot is South East facing, and provides a sunny shelter from the wind. Power is available for a hook-up from a shipping container that is located on the lot (shipping container is for private use only), so power is included in the camping/pitching. Starlink WiFi is also included in the pitch, and details will be provided upon booking. This provides an excellent service for streaming etc. Access to the lot is off Highway 7, along an established gravel track, and then onto the peninsula. The access road does slope toward the lot area, but it is a great place to escape to complete peace and quiet! There is a large retaining rock wall, which provides access to a rocky beach, but walking around the peninsula offers shallower access in other areas. All great for a day's exploring. There is also an access road to the famous Fancys Point around 2km away, which looks out to open ocean.
