The point of the point is the view, as there is no cell service [though they do hope to remedy that issue], and no washrooms. That said Chris and his mother were wonderful and hospitable. The view is jaw dropping, and that alone is worth the stay. Also an amazing place to get away from everything.

1 night at Silver Birch Camp

Very easy to book. The site was nice and level, tucked away on their side yard. Adjacent to a pond. We were only there for a brief time but it was the perfect location on our travels going west. I would avoid the restaurant down the street. Nice folks but vibe, food and drinks left a lot to be desired. Also, bring bug spray in the summer.

Weekend Trip to Summer Winds

Wonderful spot to camp, grass/soft ground was really nice for tenting. Inground pool was very clean, kids loved it. Location was quiet, great shower and washroom facilities. Very close to many amazing beaches and not far from Charlottetown which is a fantastic city.

had a fantastic stay at this campground in PEI! The facilities were exceptionally clean, and site #10 was in the perfect location—just the right distance from the pool and directly across from the washrooms. Cora and David were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

3 nights at Summer Winds

Summer Winds was a well laid out campground with lots of exploring allowed at both the property and area. Located about 40 minutes from Charlottetown made a fun afternoon trip. Our kids loved the fact that our spot (#19) was facing the playground and the saltwater pool was a huge hit. Washroom and showers were kept clean and comfortable— the water was hot! Everyone we spoke to was friendly and inviting making it a spot we will have to return to one day. Thanks for hosting!
