The boat can sleep 5 guests, but a private raised glamping tent is provided for overflow if required.
Off property you will find: auto race watching (at Riverside raceway), hiking, biking, ocean fishing, and shopping activities. Downtown Antigonish is but a ten minute drive. The famous Highland Games comes in July along with the Lobster Festival in New Glasgow. The Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition runs from Aug 27-31.

Best to get all your supplies in Port Hawkesbury if u are just arriving on Cape Breton. Strait Richmond Hospital. is 10 min. away if needed. Please be mindful of our garden and young fruit trees. Please pack out all of you garbage as we do not have local garbage pickup... garbage can be disposed of in local towns. 2.3 acres of woodlot at the end of the road. Very rustic. Ideal for campers and bicycle campers. Very few facilities but you can put up a tent and have a fire. It's super quiet and the only sound is the wind and the very occasional car (like one a day).

Steve greeted us and was helpful and friendly. Easy to follow directions. This was a super special tenting spot for us. No other tenters on the two nights we were there. Private, it looked like two other sites near ours, and spacious. Picnic table. Flat, grassy, shade and sun, nestled in spruce trees. Near a well thought out outhouse with a lantern and a few solar lights for nighttime use. Neat, easy to use, private outside shower. Clean, quiet,
good for star gazing. We would love to stay here again. Close to Arisaig and the Provincial Park and Antigonish. Grateful for this sweet spot.
