Best to get all your supplies in Port Hawkesbury if u are just arriving on Cape Breton. Strait Richmond Hospital. is 10 min. away if needed. Please be mindful of our garden and young fruit trees. Please pack out all of you garbage as we do not have local garbage pickup... garbage can be disposed of in local towns. The town of Louisdale offers free potable water and dump station (located next to Babins Yamaha).

Steve greeted us and was helpful and friendly. Easy to follow directions. This was a super special tenting spot for us. No other tenters on the two nights we were there. Private, it looked like two other sites near ours, and spacious. Picnic table. Flat, grassy, shade and sun, nestled in spruce trees. Near a well thought out outhouse with a lantern and a few solar lights for nighttime use. Neat, easy to use, private outside shower. Clean, quiet, good for star gazing. We would love to stay here again. Close to Arisaig and the Provincial Park and Antigonish. Grateful for this sweet spot.

It is a peaceful place, yet pretty close to Antigonish city with all the amenities. Bonus point for being pet friendly!

Great, quiet small campground. Bring a 30 A plug for the electric or borrow one from the front office. Great pool area. Staff provided a map of local highlights in the Gerogetown area. Very clean newish shower building with large stalls and very hot water.

We absolutely loved camping at Summer Winds with our tent trailer! The beach and the pool were great and clean, as well as exceptionally clean spacious bathrooms. We were greeted on arrival with a friendly welcome who answered all our questions. Such a lovely calm atmosphere, we will surely be back next year.
