Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area is well marked with signage. This doesn’t mean we aren’t here to help, you can reach us 24/7 via telephone/text or email. It makes for the perfect spot to experience quiet private east coast living. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 4 fantastic sites. 1-30 amp service, 2 roadside non-serviced as well as one privative forested site. The historic barns, deep swimming pond, sugar house, and stunning woods with trails provide ample space and privacy for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Learn more about this land: Come join us at the Gaylin Farms – home to two friendly goats, Newfoundland ponies, a horse, Chanticler chickens, three dogs and a cat. Stay at our completely private cabin (sleeps 3 comfortably, sleeping mats/air mattresses NOT provided) isolated within the centre of a gorgeous 25-acre forest with a private groomed c. 1.5 km walking/biking trail. The cabin is a 5-minute walk from the Trans Canada RailTrail which grants easy access for longer bike rides, runs, hikes, and four-wheeler adventures. There is a large farm pond (10ft deep) on the property for swimming. Enjoy access to locally-sourced food, firewood (at a small fee) drinking water, a private firepit, gas BBQ (bring your own gas!), and our old-fashioned wood-fired cook stove. There is no electricity or running water (but we provide ample drinking water) and there are solar panels so you may charge your devices or have a light. Bring your pets and enjoy a private retreat. The max capacity of the cabin is three people. If you come with two or three additional friends or children, there is a tent site available for an additional fee. An outhouse with double-duty bag and second luggable loo are available for all guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights. NEW ADDITION: A new room, a small annex, has been constructed to allow for downstairs sleeping and writing area. It is fully insulated with a wood stove so this area may be used year round. The annex gives one a deeper feeling of being a part of the woods.
