Back Forty Vineyards

Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! Outhouse on the property and it is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Peachland is within easy reach of over 200 estate wineries and microbreweries. 

Site #1 had a great view of the vineyard.

There are a few great trees for hanging up your hammock on the property!

You can catch a glimpse of Okanagan Lake through the vineyard and the trees.

The outhouse is a short walk from the campsites. It's bright and clean, well-stocked, and has a great view of the surrounding forest.

Valley View Acres

10 acres of natural beauty in the mountains. The property is covered in wildflowers and has idyllic views over Yellow Lake and the similkameen valley. Deer, hummingbirds and marmots are frequent visitors. Feel free to roam the property and take in the beautiful scenery.

There are 4 lakes within a 1-5 minute drive for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. There are many oppurtunities for hiking. Twin lakes golf course is 1 minute away. Also a 1 minute drive is Twin Lakes store which offers liquor, good coffee, baked goods, an ice cream bar and gas.

15 minutes to Penticton. 10 minutes to Kaleden. 15 minutes to Keremeos.

The reason this is listed as RV only is because we have no washroom available, however if tents would like to accompany an RV there is plenty of room to do so.

Welcome to Fruit Haven! We are located in Cawston, BC.

Located 7 minutes from floating on the South Similkameen river for hours! You can also simply hang out on the beach. We are also 7 minutes from Barcelo Canyon where you can hike for hours or days.

Restaurants, markets, and vineyards are all within walking distance.

Located just 8kms South East of Keremeos, and 36km west of Osoyoos, Cawston is known as the Organic Farm Capital of Canada. Cawston has hot summers, cool nights and powerful winds.

We are also close to several wineries! With the hot summers, cool nights and powerful winds, the wines made here burst with the taste of the Similkameen Valley, thanks to the small farms and winemakers that are dedicated to creating quality, award-winning wine.

As you can tell, the activities nearby are endless! We look forward to hosting you.​​

Horseshoe Found Retreat/Winery

Our retreat camping is to enjoy and spend a night next to our vineyard in Cawston, Similkameen Valley and enjoy a bottle of wine (included in the price) from our winery (guests must be 19+) to receive the wine. 

 The camping is suitable for fully contained RVs and camper trailers, there are no services. We can accommodate vehicles up to 36ft in length.  Cawston is a farming community, and many farmers grow their products organically. 

We welcome guests who enjoy the wilderness, quiet and charm of this rugged, unpretentious valley and who are interested in the history and microclimates of this place, as well as in wine, of course! Cheers.
