We love hospitality, so though we won’t always be around when you’re here, if we are and you need something you can simply ask and we’ll do our best to provide what you need. To help you feel welcome we provide a fresh, cool jug of drinking water and large container of fresh potable water as well as access to an outside tap to fill water containers if needed (upon request) , power to charge devices (upon request), and a campfire ring with firewood (sorry about the frequent fire bans. Local favorite Rocking Horse Pub is a quick walk next door and a must-stop for dinner and drinks!  Centrally located on Vancouver Island, it’s a perfect spot to set up the rig and day trip out to Rathtrevor, Little Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni valley and Nanaimo, or go for an overnighter in Victoria, Tofino, Mount Washington and the Comox Valley. 1 night at Private & Peaceful Escape

I had a great stay, and it really is a private and peaceful escape! The bed was super comfy, and the big windows look out onto Katie’s beautiful garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with all kinds of gadgets: an Instant Pot, air fryer, toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle 😄. The electric fireplace adds a cozy vibe when you’re relaxing on the couch at night. It was lovely meeting Katie and her absolutely adorable toy poodle, Rico. The suite is a perfect base for exploring the area, and I would definitely stay here again!

wonderful and expansive property to explore, a huge treehouse to hang out in, and helpful and kind hosts. my friend and i had a wonderful time camping in this little forest hideaway!

We enjoyed Decourcy Meadows place so much that we went back for a second stay at the end of our trip. Once again, everything was great! Rod and his wife were super accommodating. If you are looking for a quiet place with full hookups this should be on your list of places to check out!

1 night at Forest Hideaway

This was by far the BEST camping site ever! Everything was spotless and very easy to find. The facilities were super clean, especially the toilet, which was incredibly well maintained. The water jugs were very practical, and the site itself was quiet, private, and easy to access. The host was extremely kind and respectful, and he gave us great recommendations for places to visit that turned out to be amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at The Meadow. Nicely equipped and private RV site backed by huge trees. Short walk to the ocean and quick drives to two very nice pubs, The Crow and Gate being spectacular.

Such as great spot! We had very much space to park thé RV. Accualy we did not hear a thing, just thé sound of nature. The house of Lisa was about 400 meters away and everthing was taken Care for: water and electricity.

That place is lovely! Marc take care a lot that everything is clean, that you find the place and everything you need there. We had a warm welcome even when he was not home and there are adorable cats, joining us. Even the tree house is such a nice and funny place :) Highly recommend 👌

2 nights at Duck Creek Farm

Nice private tipi surrounded by trees and next to the farm. The sink was nice to have nearby. Garbage and recycling cans near the parking spot. Nice bedding. Picnic table and chairs outside. There is some traffic noise although you can’t see it and it quiets down later. Saw pheasants, rabbit and birds.
