Discover nature at our farm and petting zoo with our new overnight camping experience.  Our cozy camping spots each have a picnic table, a fire pit, chairs and a nice spot for your tent.

Every camping reservation includes admission to our amazing petting zoo.  Get up close and personal with a variety of friendly animals, including sheep, mini horses, donkeys, cows, emus, pigs, pigeons, turkeys, peacocks, ducks, chickens, alpacas, goats, rabbits and adorable guinea pigs.  You can enjoy a day filled with attractions such as our jumping pillow and bouncy castle, zip line, peddle track, maze, tractor train ride,  sandbox, playground and our u pick flower garden.

This is  more that just a camping spot and petting zoo, it is an opportunity to connect with nature, bond with animals and create unforgettable memories with those you care about.

Hatzic Island Acres

Welcome to Island Farm Camp, a peaceful 7-acre hobby farm on beautiful Hatzic Island in BC. Surrounded by lush greenery and open skies, our property offers a quiet escape just far enough from city life to breathe deep and slow down.

Campers have access to a private field site, separated from other areas of the farm by an unused barn for added privacy. Whether you’re in a campervan, trailer, or tent, you’ll enjoy a spacious grassy area with a gravel pathway for easy access and a private fire pit (available when no fire ban is in effect). This is a dry, off-grid site—there are no hookups or on-site amenities, so guests must be fully self-contained, pack out all waste, and leave no trace.

As part of your stay, feel free to say hello to our friendly flock of chickens who roam the farm and might just come by to greet you. You’re welcome to visit with them during your stay—especially a hit with kids and animal lovers!

Though you may spot us around the property, the camping space is tucked away with plenty of room and privacy. We love sharing the charm of our little farm and hope you’ll enjoy a peaceful, no-fuss stay under the stars.

Living the Dream in Roberts Creek

Located a stones throw from the small town of Roberts Creek. There is a general store, restaurant, cafe and shops. Beaches, forest hiking, and biking trails are also located are just a few minutes walk.

The experience is 'staying at your friends place'. We love to meet new people and  show off our corner of the world, it is a beautiful spot!

Bring your own tent, or small RV. There is a pop up tent, table and chairs, propane fire pit and a 'camp style' potty.

*It is not a waterfront property, some of the images are of nearby attractions.

*Pets are OK but must be supervised at all times, there are other animals in the area.

*It is a beautiful forested site but we are near town, so there can be some noise.

Ohana Farms

Ohana farmns is a 46 Acre produce and flower farm.  We are located on Pender Island in the beautiful Gulf Islands. Accomodations can be hard to find on the island, and if you do, they can often be expensive....we hope to change this by offering up the authentic experience of setting up a campsite right here on the farm!

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for any neighbours to hear.

Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.

Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall & has world-class fishing.  The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away.

There isn't river access at the sites.   The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter.  There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures).

We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both. 

ATV's are idle in - idle out only.

QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them.

LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.

CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!   

FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM.  

BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.

Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property.  Any interactions with them are at your own risk!  The gate must be kept closed because of them.

If you prefer, we have 6 bare-bones fishermen's cabins.  All the details are on my Tamihi Meadows site under "Cabins".

You will roam the 117 acres. We have raspberries and field crops that surround the Farmstead.

 You will also find our herd of cattle as we raise Grass-Fed Wagyu here on the Farmstead.

We have loved sharing our home, and the Farmstead with many guests, turned friends, from all around the world! It is indeed our priority to provide a comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful space for you. Hi!  Welcome to Custer Family Glamping!  We are so glad you are here ;)
Our 10-acre property is located in Custer, WA in the Northwest corner of Whatcom County.  Custer is an easy 20-minute drive to Bellingham, 10-15 minutes to 2 coastal beaches (Birch Bay and Semiahmoo), and only 10 minutes to Blaine and the Canadian border.  
We love to host our friends and show people around our beautiful slice of the PNW🌲

We are a big family, so we designed all of our glamping sites to be kid and pet friendly and big enough to fit families of 2-6.  A little luxury and ease for the grownups and a magical nature experience for the kids.  Kids are allowed to "just be" here.  Cellular reception isn't great but no one seems to notice.  Not when they are busy building forts, roasting marshmallows and climbing up tree houses.  

The intention infused into all of our spaces is a Hygge* (pronounced hoo-gah) vibe.  *Hygge is a calm, comfortable time with people you love.  The absence of frustrations; often enjoyed with warm drinks, cozy blankets and candlelight or a fire.❤️

County Noise Statement: We love living in rural Whatcom County and we know land owners in our area love it too. In fact, their enthusiasm for the great outdoors is so high that sometimes they can generate sounds that will travel throughout the day. These are likely sounds you are not accustomed to hearing in a traditional neighborhood.

-county shooting range located a few miles away
-tractors
-mowers & chainsaws
-ATV vehicles
-barking dogs
-farm animals (goat, horses, crowing roosters)
-wild animals (early morning bird song and owls at night)
-children laughing
-adult voices
-train horn

Evenings are generally very quiet and peaceful as night falls with the exception of holiday weekends as the enthusiasm for owning property in the country may ramp up ;) We tell you all this in order to be fully transparent about noise potential.  If the potential for noise and the nearby shooting range will be a damper on your glamping experience, no worries! We totally get it! Our place is probably not the best fit. If you want to bring your kids to a place where they can build a fort, take a break from their screens and build family memories over a campfire, then you will love it here! And we look forward to seeing you soon.

Our "room" was tidy and cozy when we arrived.

Incredibly comfortable bed that was perfectly warm on a cold spring night. The bunk bed cot was also perfect for my two little boys.

Get close to nature on a 40 acre farm homesteaded in 1929 by Pauline and Earnest Weatherby, who raised their 2 children and 40 foster kids.  Located 6 miles from the Canadian border, Mt. Vedder horse trail is 3 miles away, Nooksack Falls and Mt. Baker are 22 miles, and Silver Lake Park with swimming, fishing and boating is 7 miles away.  A Nucanoe and 2 electric bikes  are available, see details.  Dog supplies, eggs, homemade jellies/jams/dried fruit and seasonal produce available to purchase. There's a big dog park, large undulating meadows, and lots of woods and wildlife.  Tent and RV camping. WiFi and water available at the dog park.  Chickens and ducks, a vegetable garden, flower gardens, and fruit trees on site.  We can provide insight into small sustainable farming, fruit processing, and seasonal canning.
