in Harbor Bar, WisconsinGreat but flooding, noise possible
James B.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
Booking was easy with great communication and flexibility. It's across the parking lot from a local/popular Reggae marina bar/restaurant so a very short drive, bike ride, or decent walk to downtown Red Wing. Very nice staff and shower behind the bar/up some stairs in back was nice. Can also fill up water in laundry tub.
As other reviewers noted there aren't really designated sites. There were 4-5 longer-term trailer/RVs away from the water so there was really just one viable spot though it had a beautiful view right on the water. The shoreline was 10 ft more inland due to heavy rains. Not the site/owner's fault - just check ahead. There are more potential spots further in but you could get blocked in. Fine if you have two groups.
The noise at night can be quite loud as they love their music - it's not obnoxious but bring plugs just in case. The train also goes right past the other side of the river and BLASTS the horn multiple times - felt like hourly through the night.
If you want a spot next to a cool bar/restaurant and don't mind a little noise, it's a great deal. If you are dreaming of a more serene camping site, it may not be for you.

Five Acre Funny Farm đ
in Five Acre Funny Farm đ, MinnesotaGreat location, adorable goats!!!
Great communication. Sweetest hosts. Helped me set up a hammock and offered help in so many ways. The best hosts Iâve experienced so far!
Great property with all of the animals youâd ever want to see. Itâs next to a protected wetland area so if bugs and critters bother you it may not be the place for you.
Awesome experience!!!!
Past trip
Three Acre Woods Hill Top campsite
in Three Acre Woods, MinnesotaGreat experience start to finish. Stayed in spot 3 next to the large turkey pen and near the fire pit. Judy and Steve were welcoming and gave me a tour then even brought wood, water to ensure the fire was out when done, and newspaper. There was plenty of kindling just around in the ground.
The dogs, cats, and piglets were all super friendly and all of the animals were clearly well treated.
The ducks, geese, and rooster (and very large turkey) will start their morning calls/screaming just before sunrise. Didnât bother me at all and their âconversationsâ were hilarious, like sitcom neighbors having an old argument over the lawn or garden.
Past trip
in OakTownCamp: Laundry, Sauna,Shower, MinnesotaGreat for backyard glamping
Great location. Within a short drive, ride it even walk to downtown.
Basic shower and bathroom available and even a sauna (for colder weather).
Not somewhere youâd hang out aside from sleeping but why would you? So many great places nearby.
Notes: bring a 50 ft power cord if you want dedicated power to your tent.
Read the guidance provided. Ashley provided great detail.
Ashley was responsive throughout the process!! Thank you!
James hasn't gone on any trips yet.
