We had a phenomenal time tent camping at Zak and Katieâs, maybe our best hip camp yet. Their property is incredibly well cared for and we were in a stunning spot under huge old growth trees. There were farm animals, notably a very friendly goat named Ernie! Hosts were friendly and attentive, had great âextraâ amenities like 5 gal drinking water jugs, and there was a little waterfall. Great spot to catch up with fam and spend some time outside. Thank you Zak and Katie!!!

Site 1 The Pines
in Daniel's Cabin Retreat, MinnesotaCamp at north ridge pines
We stayed one night at campsite #1 over 4th of July weekend at north ridge pines. The stars and fireflies were unbelievable. The campsite was very private, sheltered by trees on two sides, had an amazing view of rolling hills, and was on the other side of a pond from the camp hosts home. The path to get there was well cleared, and Dan escorted us to the site, started a fire, and set up a potty tent on our arrival. Dan and Jane were so friendly and welcoming, providing lots of activities to do there such as canoeing and croquet, which we will have to enjoy on our next visit. Thank you!

Past trip
in Twin Folk Farms, WisconsinWe had a delightful time at the sheep shanty! This was a great 4th of July escape from the city - a beautiful and private campsite, with exactly the right amenities for the weekend. We greatly enjoyed having firewood at the campsite upon arrival. The sausage and eggs (also waiting for our arrival) were AMAZING!! We hope to come back to camp, and know we will be back for meat! What a great spot!!!

10/10 recommend. We had a magical stay under the full solar eclipse at Natalie and Malcomâs place, camping among the birds, trees, and bugs. Their enthusiasm for caring for the land and kind hospitality helped make our stay an unforgettable part of our eclipse experience. We will absolutely be back and canât wait to see what Natalie and Malcom do next!

Best camping. We stayed in Aurora, and after coming home immediately booked a stay to try agate as well. Aurora: HUGE private campsite with ample flat options to park our camp van and friends to tent. Stunning private beach, that hosted a perfect sunny day hunting for rocks, floating in the lake and laying on the beach. Bonus sunset overlook trail and raised deck for lake viewing. Stars for days!!! When we were there, the outhouse was very clean and freshly serviced.
Come prepared. :) The trail to the beach is steep, but you can tell where Matt is grooming it overtime. Byo water. Flies were bitey.
