Past trips
RV Site 19
in Rockcastle Riverside, KentuckyGreat place for RV camping that doesnât feel like a state park or huge facility. Lots of good tent, camping spots away from the RVs too. We had a great weekend.
Ondessonk's Brebeuf Cabins
in Camp Ondessonk, IllinoisPeaceful, clean, private
This site is great!! It is one of several groups/sites that are available within Camp Ondessonk. You definitely are right in the middle of the forest but benefit from an added level of development/facilities and safety. The site and facilities were clean, and well-maintained. There is lots to explore just walking the lake circle road as well as trails. This really is a magical place that screams old-school throwback summer camp meets peaceful vibes and powerful experiences. High quality wood available for a very reasonable price and friendly staff. We enjoyed the three wall cabins and will definitely stay again.
Rustic Roots Sanctuary
in Rustic Roots Sanctuary, MissouriA great campout at a working farm
We were greeted by Janett and her husband warmly and provided a walking tour of the 7 acre farm. There were several spots to choose from that offered different feels (tucked away in foliage, out in the open, close to the goats and chickens, near the bathroom...). We picked a spot that bordered foliage but offered an open field in front. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed including some great kiln dried firewood and even some bricks to create our own fire ring in front of our campsite. Thereâs a really nice communal field to this property. Including a communal fire pit patio and bathroom with running water. They were three friendly cats that popped up here and there to check things out and added to the fun of our stay. Overall it was a really unique and cool camping experience.
Site 8
in The Boonies camping, IndianaHidden spot on a disk golf course
I had a great time camping, the grounds were well maintained, there was plenty of firewood to scrounge if you were willing to look and cut it up yourself. Lots of privacy and a cool pontoon boat dock on the pond
Site 7
in Lakefront Ozark Oasis, ArkansasSite 3 - Magic Forest Farm Camp
in Magic Forest Farm, New YorkSite 3 was great. Perfect location from the bathroom and the firewood. If your looking for a place to get away and get with nature, you canât go wrong. Also, the out door shower is great
