Milsons Camp

The Billabong camp was a wonderful first time away for my family. We loved being off grid and totally present among nature. Our doggo loved sniffing the cows and following along for a adventure across the creek. We loved the little fire and were able to sit out side to enjoy our morning coffee. Was so surreal and lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of "real life". Thanks Nat for a super enjoyable experience. We will be back! *Please note, our van is 22ft and towed with a 200 series Landcruiser. We struggled to get through front gate only due to the length of us. It took a few goes but with some directing it was achieved. Coming out was no problem*

The campground is set out well. Beautiful relaxing spot. Billabong does not get much sun this time of the year so is quite wet underfoot. The other sites get lovely midday sun.

The Brook and better

Fantastic place to stay made better by Nathan and Son! Looking to book again soon. I don't know that anyone could have described the history of the site with more love and passion than Nat! This is a site that has historic significance, that is under sold by general description. "I guess that's any photos as well!" come without expectations and be over welhelmed by the stars. You may even see wombats in the mist!!! Cheeky little bugger ran away before I could get the camera!

A nice spot close to Wollombi Village which had plenty of sites and places to wander through. Groundsheets are a must for protecting your gear from the many cow paddies but the sites are well spaced. Being a long weekend the traffic from Wollombi road was within hearing distracting from the sounds of nature. We didn't explore the trails but Nathan provided all the information needed for our stay clearly. Great for groups of people and families with pets. Not as secluded as we anticipated so the noise from the adjacent campers ignoring the 10pm curfew was disappointing.

Perfect space for R&R

This was a fantastic , clean , comfortable location that offered everything I was wanting for a few days of R&R . Big spaces & clear set outs gives privacy from others ..

He had fun! On our first morning it frost but that just added to the beauty of this place. The property is well maintained and though we didn't get the chance to meet the host, we received clear direction on how to find the property. Our only regret is not seeing their resident platipus. Next time though :)

Fantastic paddock getaway!

Beautiful area and property! Such a great find! Would definitely recommend the brook to stay again (stayed at site brook 2) Nat was a great host who clearly cares about the property and the experiences of its guests.

Great spot handy to local amentities but out of the way enough to get peace and quiet. Sites are well spaced and number 3 looks east back out and over the property around as well as into the creek and hills straight in front

Great spot, flat and grassy, next to a creek. Campers are well spaced out and each have a firepit. Easy to get to from Sydney for a short start.

Our stay at Valley Views was just so relaxing and watching the fog roll through the valley was beautiful .It was so quiet and picturesque you could not help but relax and unwind. Nathan was a great host he came and checked on us as we arrived and made sure we had firewood and all that we needed. We will definitely be going back for some more R & R.

Beautiful property

Such a beautiful property. Wombat waters is a little more secluded from the rest of the sites, located in a small dip, with the possibility of setting up on higher ground. The site was clean, grass was low and extremely well maintained. Take the time to explore the property via the trail walk up the hill to the overhang (cave) and long rock wall covered in moss. Nathan was very helpful, even sent through activities happening in town. Strongly recommend.

Spacious slice of heaven

Roomy, level grassed sites each with its own firepit. Attentive host who meets each camper to make sure everything's a-ok. Beautiful walks in the paddock or bush nature trails, with caves and wildlife to discover. Very close to Wollombi for supplies or a meal out.

The Brook was a beautiful spot to camp. Nathan was a great host, kindly sharing detailed instructions on how to find the site on the morning of the booking. Lovely to wake up to cows in the misty morning. Site felt secluded and safe, and other campers (four other groups) all kept to themselves and kept noise at a minimum. Nathan kindly provides firewood, but if you're hoping to cook on the fire I would recommend grabbing some dry wood from the servo. Wet conditions made it a little bit harder to build and maintain a fire.

Top Spot

Great little spot on the Brook. We had the Billabong Site and we were the only guests at the time so setting was super quite and relaxing. We never met Nathan but he provides comprehensive information via text. Watching a couple of the local cows give birth is always special.
