The shower & toilet is the original outhouse from the 50s, located within the deck of the house. It's not flash, but shower is hot & toilet is clean.
We're happy to have doggos, but be aware of other campers, our free range chooks and any stock in the paddocks.
Heywood is 30 minutes which hosts Mt Eccles a beautiful spot to hike or ride, you'll find a IGA, a lovely pub meal, a skatepark and an outdoor pool.
Tyrendarra you'll find the river where you can fish, use the boat ramp.
Narrawong also has fishing & the beach.
We are central to beautiful spots.
Find caves at Byaduk and a gift store.
Not far from Hamilton you'll find falls to wonder around.
Portland has pick your own strawberries along with the tram to take a ride.
Warrnambool you'll find the Breakwater, Hot Springs, Mini Golf, Tower Hill Reserve, Hopkins Falls.

We have grassy site available with plenty of shade for self contained campers. We often have Kangaroos and Koalas along with plenty of other wildlife on the property so keep an eye out and make the most of a great wildlife watching opportunity. There are a number of water holes on the property the wildlife like to enjoy.The property borders a section of the Great South West Walk and you can easily get onto the track from here. This walk has some stunning scenery and is a great spot to enjoy this part of the coastline, all from a comfortable base back at camp.Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided pending there is no restrictions in place. Pets are welcome but please clean up after them and ensure they respect the wildlife in the area. We look forward to welcoming you to Shaddy gums.

A secluded get-away, Sea Mist is positioned at the end of The Great Ocean Road. Just a short walk from Logans Beach Whale Nursery and the picturesque Hopkins River. Close to enjoy a variety of water activites swimming, fishing, kayaking, surfing.
Logans Beach Day Spa and a female gym is 5 minute walk up the road from the property. Proudfoots, a historic restaurant, on the Hopkins River about a 15 minute stroll across the bridge and along the river walk past the boat moorings. They are well known for delicious food, great place to go for tea or weekend breakfast. There is also a walking /riding track and board walk promenade that will follows the foreshore and finishes at the Break Water passing the Warrnambool Surf Club, Lake Pertobe and some terrific restaurants, Simons and The Pavilion to note, which is a great place for breakfast or lunch.
The CBD is only 5 minutes drive from the property great variety of restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, boutiques and speciality shops as well as supermarkets and other large chain stores such as, Woolworths, Coles, Audi, K-Mart and Target.
Set on 2 acres, Sea Mist was purchased as a subdivision in 1998. The garden and house were also designed then and given council approval the following year. The extensive gardens incorporate both design ideas that Edna Walling used, and Bill Mollison and David Holgren developed with their Permaculture principals. The gardens were established over a number of years to follow, aiming to be as sustainable as possible.
Although the property has town water connected, for most of the year it runs totally on tank water. The wastewater is recycled and used on many of the gardens.
We have organic orchard and vegetable gardens that use companion planting and successive crop rotation.
Guests are free to spend time in the garden and pick some fruit and herbs for a snack to use in cooking a meal. Please be respectful and leave plenty for others to share.

Rob and Ann are exceptional hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay special. Rob greets you on arrival and, if you have kids, even offers a lovely experience feeding the cows — which our daughter absolutely loved.
The paddock itself is beautiful: perfectly flat with stunning gum trees lining each side, making it peaceful and picturesque. We stayed a full week and experienced everything from misty foggy mornings to a full moon rising over the trees and even some rainy days that made the property feel even more magical.
Only 15–20 minutes from town, it’s the perfect base to relax, unwind, and explore the surrounding areas.
We’d absolutely stay again and next time, we’d stay even longer.

This site is a perfect blend of nature and convenience. Everything was clean, functional, and well-maintained.
The Highlights:
• Facilities: Modern flushable toilets and consistent hot water made the stay incredibly comfortable.
• Cooking & Dining: The private pergola and high-performing gas BBQ provided an excellent, shaded space for all our meals.
• Evening: The fire pit was well-positioned and perfect for the nights under the stars.
Carla is a fantastic host. Special thanks to Carla for being incredibly understanding. Our gazebo frame was damaged during high winds, and the she graciously allowed us to leave it behind for disposal, saving us a massive headache on the pack-up

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful oceanfront campsite. It was incredibly peaceful, with so much to explore — perfect for throwing a rod in, snorkelling, and letting the kids roam and enjoy nature.
One of the highlights was seeing the adorable baby calves in the nearby paddock — such a special touch that made the stay even more memorable.
Fiona was absolutely lovely and so prompt with communication, making everything easy from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend for families and anyone wanting a relaxing coastal escape!

We were very fortunate to have access to this very special piece of coastline on privately owned farmland to ourselves. Abundant birdlife, natural rock walled pools, cooling sea breezes and the sound of the distant surf crashing against the outer rocks - it doesn’t get any better. We were told the diving and fishing isn’t bad either. We hope to return one day to stay longer.

What a great camp. Rob ensures the grass is beautiful which is lovely for the kids to play on. There is shade and sun available for different setups. The camp is not far out of Warrnambool and 5 mins to Koroit which is an interesting little town.
