Camp sites are located around the dam and waterfall with views of the Tully mountains and Tully town with the mill stacks in the far distance. Come and enjoy our peaceful spot. It is a 5 minute drive to Alligators Nest which is the local swimming hole with crystal clear water but with no alligators, or try our local Feluga Pub for a coldie or a great pub meal a few minutes up the road. Or why not check out the great little town of Tully and that giant gumboot. So come breathe in the fresh air and wake up the sounds of our beautiful bush birds. Fire wood available for a small fee. GLOWS Garden Centre Camp is set in a large field backing onto world heritage rainforest to the East/South and adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials Yard to the north. We have only opened 4 lovely grassy sites. Our Hipcamp opened September 2024 and only 200m away is a cafe at our Garden Centre for a great coffee 6 days a week! You will need to be self-sufficient however we do have toilets available between 7am and 5pm in the adjoining Garden Centre carpark. Also available is a large cold water washing machine (gold coin donation). We are located on Tully Mission Beach Road with the bike path between Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach running right past the front gates, so a quick ride into town and plenty of space to bring your boat! We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help. Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

Pets are welcome but must be under control at all times. We have a passion for the environment, agriculture and reducing the amount of waste created by humans, we try to reuse and repurposing as much of our own and others waste as possible. Please take all rubbish with you. Campers will enjoy a lovely nearby drive up Mount Fox - a rising above surrounding eucalypt woodlands where you can find an ancient volcano with a large crater. The Stone River flows near by, which is good for relaxing and enjoying the crystal clear water. Wallaman fall is also close by. The property is located 15 minutes out of Ingahm and under 2 hours out of Townsville. Nice tropical weather. Safe neighbourhood. Very peaceful and relaxing. If wet, vehicles may be bogged. If it rains excessively, keep on high ground.

Nestled in the mountains is a little grove with beautiful views and fresh crisp air. This property is set on 5 acres of flat and sloping ground. The campsite is part rainforest and has a creek on one side. There is also lots of open forest. I find the rainforest good for enjoying the birds. If you're up for an adventure bring your mountain bike and go riding, or head of for walks along the creek. It's very peaceful. You will find the Wallaman Falls, Mt Fox and National Parks nearby. This campsite is located about half an hour from town. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is a picnic table for meals, access to water, power and wifi as well as rubbish facilities.

Sheree was such an amazing host and little camp dog Jacko was adorable addition to our stay, he got on very well with our dogs and even stayed and had a fire with us, the view campsite 4 was stunning, and close to amenities but further enough away as to not be bothered by other campers. We took an adventure to mission beach which was stunning and had a drink at the El Arish pub which was so lovely ! As it’s not absolutely rural you are fortunate to have phone reception and there is firewood in the shed which also hosts very clean bathroom facilities. We will 100% be coming back!

Absolutely well maintained beautiful property. Unfortunately we had a bit of rain but didn’t dampen our spirits. Toilet and shower available which was nice. Close to visit Tully township and Alligators Nest and Tully Gorge. The other sites were all lovely as well. Friendly host, easy to chat to and great communication. Would highly recommend this place.

Sheree was a wonderful welcoming host. Firewood delivery and intel on the animal names and where the kids might find a turtle or tabby. Great to have the amenities right nearby, a lovely clean shower and toilet out of the weather. Was grey and wet when we visited but the view was still great!

Sheree was welcoming. We camped during "typical" Tully weather, but our site drained well and a gravel base made for less mud and easy grip. The rain didn't dampen our stay. The amenities were clean. Beautiful setting. The kids were entertained by the turtles in the creek and are already asking when we can return. We will be back.

Tully Mountain View is such a beautiful spot. We did get rain but this is Nth Qld. Sheree was a great host and made sure we were ok with the spot because of the impact the rain had on the grounds. Also had access to toilet, shower, washing machine and fire wood. We didn’t need these facilities but is a great bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend.
