You will need to be self-sufficient however we do have a cold water shower and toilets available between 7am and 5pm in the adjoining Garden Centre. Also available is a large cold water washing machine (gold coin donation). We are located on Tully Mission Beach Road with the bike path between Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach running right past the front gates, so a quick ride into town and plenty of space to bring your boat! We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help. Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

Behind the Mango tree are walking tracks that take you across a bridge and into the rainforest. This is a pristine environment that we want to share with our visitors. Please be mindful that we have the usual wild animals that are native to the area (Cassowary's, pythons & snakes, wallabies & kangaroos) that should always be treated with the respect that they deserve. This is a beautiful part of the world to stay, and you will enjoy stopping and recharging your batteries!

With two queen bedrooms and two double bunk rooms, the property comfortably hosts up to two families, making it perfect for group getaways or extended stays. Fully refreshed and spacious, it offers a relaxed home base for all ages. Adventure seekers will love the easy access to local boat ramps (500m) and Liverpool Creek (1.9km), a popular launch point for fishing and crabbing. From here, explore nearby islands like Barnard, Dunk and Bedarra, or venture out to the Great Barrier Reef for unforgettable fishing, snorkeling and diving experiences. Whether you're chasing sunrises, casting lines, spearfishing, diving, or enjoying quiet evenings under the stars, this Cowley Beach haven delivers the perfect blend of relaxation and discovery. PETS: On agreement only (small dogs considered). CHECK OUT: Late check out can be arranged, particularly for Sundays, to allow you a complete day to enjoy the property and local area. When we stay, we leave at 4:00PM and comfortable return to Cairns to be ready for the week ahead. The entire house is available to guests. Essentials within the pantry are available for use within reason, please notify if you run out so we can restock. Laundry powder and cleaning products are all available for use. We use this as our own beach house and escape also, so we understand what's required for your stay.

Oh boy, this place has such special nurturing energy. I loved every moment spent here and was sorry to have to leave! Al is an excellent host and the space is truly so beautiful and soothing. One of my all time favourite places to camp for how well I rested! The creek is beautiful, a perfect walk for a morning cuppa or lunchtime escape from the sun. The grounds themselves are so well maintained and are stunning and spacious. The nature envelopes you here in a way that truly makes you feel held. I really cannot recommend this hipcamp enough hey. Definitely book this place if you are thinking of doing so, u will be SO happy you did!

We have a 12.5m motorhome, trailer and 4X4 and our site (#2) has ample space for all plus much more. It's super quiet and relaxing here, yet only minutes drive into Mission Beach town. The owners are very friendly and have plenty of knowledge about the area and great things to do. We recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This place was incredible! Sheree and Jacko the dog were so friendly, as were the little turtles that came to say hi to us! We initially booked Site 3 - The Waterfall but Sheree was so kind and messaged to say the water was low due to the lack of rain recently and gave us the option to move sites. We moved to Site 1 - The Dam…. And WOW! It was stunning! My kids loved playing in the water and it was so tranquil. We got some firewood and sat out admiring the sky which was incredible. We really wish we could’ve stayed longer here. Massively recommend this beautiful place and wouldn’t hesitate to return one day!

The wildlife was plentiful with wallabies and lots of birds. Put this one high on your list if you’re looking for a quiet Basecamp retreat for exploring the Cassowary Coast.

The areas are well looked after, and the visits from the farm animals every now and again was pleasant too. We enjoyed the privacy of Site 3. We reversed out camper trailer in and there was sufficient room to open our awning. The convenience of the shower and toilet at the shed was an added bonus. We also enjoyed the short but well maintained walking track.
