Easter at Somerville Park 2026 A Country Shot coffee van will be back every morning, and TIAMO—Twin Flame will return for our Saturday Night Pizza Night. Plus, the Easter Bunny will once again join us for the Sunday morning Easter Egg Hunt! Portable toilets will be located across the property for campers' convenience. Campers with their own toilet facilities need to ensure all toilet waste is to be taken off the property. Somerville Park is a 500acre property at Fosterville, 20mins from Bendigo. There are a variety of campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. We also have 2 newly developed powered sites for your convenience. Please note, all toilet waste is strictly to be taken off the property. Campfires are permitted in provided fire-pits or your own portable metal fire-pit out of fire restriction times and feel free to bring your furry friends, making sure they're leashed at all times. Some sites also provide chairs and table settings for your convenience. The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to some sites on the property. The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away. The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

Somerville Park is pure peace and quiet! It was exceptionally hot during our stay so Bec happily moved us to one of the new powered sites. Absolutely beautiful landscapes and loads of wildlife. We would definetely stay again!

We didn’t stay at gunya creek site as Bec was able to accommodate us on a different site which had more shade given the hot weather. Bec was very responsive and in general the stay was pleasant.

Absolutely wonderful hosts Bec and her partner made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived They have made wonderful improvements the site were very good and unfortunately it was very hot 🔥 luckily we had power they turned on the sprinklers to give some creature comforts and settle the dust In all apart from the heat great stay highly recommended Kangaroo's roaming thru the paddocks Very quiet surroundings

Sunset Ridge Site 2
Loved our time while camping on the land. Owners showed us to our site and with the hot weather coming, they suggested we could change spots if we wanted to so we could have more shade which we accepted. Kangeroos came to visit at dusk and had visits from the sheep.

This would have been a great stay if the weather was not as hot as it was. With 42 deg days predicted over three days we just struggled with the heat and had to leave early. There is plenty of space if you free camp and I would think it would be a great place to stay in Autumn winter time, the host was really friendly and accomodating. I would have no hesitation in recommending Somerville Park.

Lovely spot to camp the night. It was stinking hot, so we were offered a shady spot which was delightful. Watched the full moon and the stars and the kangaroos and birds kept us amused

Top Dam
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at 'Top Dam'. The location was quiet, private, accommodating and offered incredible star/galaxy experience. Highly recommended to those traveling through!

Second time staying on Sheryl & Bec’s beautiful property and we enjoyed it as much the second time, as we did the first time. Lovely mother & daughter duo, so friendly and welcoming, with amazing accomodation and customer service. We can not wait to visit again, and no doubt very soon! We have a goal to camp out on every site available. We have now stayed on Top Dam & Valley View, both so beautiful and unique in their own ways. We look forward to returning soon! Had a really enjoyable and peaceful overnight stay. Directions and communication excellent. We stayed on the top dam. Really great spot very private. You didnt even know there were other campers on the property. Would certainly stay again

Awesome campground ⛺️ to those who want to have a solo feeling of camping. Very vast area, secluded but safe. Night skies 🌌 are great also for astrophotography. For families with kids can really enjoy scenery of animals roaming around free. Will definitely come back again. Awesome host will look after your needs as possible. Thanks Sheryl/Bec!

Somerville Park, has sites and accommodation to suit everyone, from camping, powered sites and tiny home accommodation. We needed peace and quiet, tranquillity and reconnection with nature, the 500 acres at Sommerville Park provided this. Our hosts we're lovely, directions and communication fantastic, we'll definitely be back, can't wait to see how it changes with the seasons.

Somerville Park Overflow
Best Hipcamp to date! From the moment we booked, communication was excellent, and the host’s warm welcome and personal tour set the tone for a wonderful stay. The property was tranquil and peaceful—at times it truly felt like we were the only ones there. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

We were seeking a secluded weekend away from the crowds on cup weekend, and that's exactly what we got! A few local animals, nice and grassy areas, and only 20 mins from the heart of Bendigo!

We loved the camping experience at Somerville Park (Bendigo). The hosts were very friendly and the communication and information received prior to arrival was excellent. They even reached out to us during a lightning storm to check up on us, which my wife and I really appreciated.

We had a great time camping here. The communication with Bec was fantastic - very prompt and accomodating. The site was large and spaced well away from others. We were warned of some noise as the mines shift swap occurred but we didn’t notice it at all. Good distance away from the dam for having little ones with you but close enough to walk down to and enjoy! Thanks for a great stay Bec and Cheryl.

Our group loved having such a large space to ourselves! Area had shade and was also lovely and open. Could see kangaroos in the morning. Gold mines are close by but noise is minimal, same with road noise. Rebecca was super lovely and even checked in on us during a sudden storm
