Great spot to relax for a couple of days amongst the gum trees. Easy access, good flat ground for camping, and no trouble putting in tent pegs!

Excellent secluded spot close to local townships. Very well catered for with a beautiful treed area with fire pits and park benches. Thanks Pete for an enjoyable stay.

Pete's place was really wonderful and peaceful. Exactly what we were after to break off our crazy stress from our lives in the city for a few days.
If you are lucky you will see a man harvesting the honey bee hives at the farm and you will be able to buy delicious honey. This man is not Pete, it is someone else that lives in Stratford and just comes to harvest the honey bee hives
The description says potable water available. Well yes water is available at the little house next to the camp site but certainly not potable. It was good only for a camp shower or cleaning the dishes

We loved our visit to Pete’s Touch of Paradise. Super quiet and peaceful. Pete was very helpful and welcoming. Beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend giving this spot a visit to switch off and relax. Town only a 10 minute drive away.

Lovely peaceful location with great set up for campfire cooking. Pete was very welcoming and then gave us space to enjoy family time. Town is a quick 10 min drive if you need any supplies.

This was an awful experience. We towed our 3 ton caravan 258kms in a heat wave to be confronted with a dead rotting cow on the property next door. The smell was revolting, rotting flesh we nearly vomitted.
The host did not return our calls on the way there. Firstly, he said he thought my call was spam, then later it was his phone service provider Optus.
Well, why do you have a site on Hipcamps?We left, as no Human could spend more than 15 mins there.
We had to then find a camp late on a Saturday of a public holiday long weekend.
Pay twice for the same nights!

We loved our stay here…. It was very peaceful, the sunsets were incredible and Pete is lovely. Easy access, level sites (we set up our van near the stockyard to get full solar), and not far from Maffra and Stratford. We’ll definitely be back :)

Very convenient stopover on our way from Melbourne to Omeo. Pete was very friendly and there are a number of different sites to choose from depending on your setup. The kitchen area would be very useful for those camping, especially if it was a bit wet.

Pete’s Paradise is a wonderful spot. We spent with 3 nights with some friends and our dogs, are and we all enjoyed our stay.
Pete is a lovely man, who ensured our stay was comfortable.
We purchased a few wood packages that well and truly got us through our stay, with plenty left over.
The option of having a covered area out if needed is excellent, with a potbelly, sink & cooking facilities.
The camping spot is located away from the main property, giving it plenty of privacy.
We will definitely be back again!

Lovely quiet spot with some friendly cattle who loved playing alongside the fence with our greyhound. Stayed overnight while passing through. Beautiful views of the farms across the paddocks. Great place to unwind for the evening. Thanks Pete!

What a cracking spot to stay and explore this area from! Super easy access on the gravel road. There were several spots to choose from and we decided to setup next to the old stockyard to make the most of the sun and our solar. There are plenty of cool shady spots too if you need them. Really private camp with water available at the site.
We used this serene and peaceful camp as base to explore the town of Stratford and the swimming spots Briagalong Blue Pool and The Quarries. Beautiful places to swim and explore the outdoors. Definitely worth a visit.
