The location is perfect. Not that far from lakes Entrance & Metung. We camp near the trees which is beautiful and the host are accomodating. Thank you Robert and Christina.

I’m not really a fan of HipCamp. Seems to be an opportunity for landowners to provide little but charge a lot. This place provided nothing, was a bare paddock next to fairly busy road and charged more than the average caravan park. Six of us on the place. But we had no choice over Easter. Other places have at least provided privacy and seclusion.

I loved the camp ground, well looked after grounds, plenty of room for even large caravans. Close to the road but only very light traffic. I recommend this camp.

A great place to stay, just 8kms to the Metung village. Half way between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. Open paddock. We stayed near the shed rolling hills view. Will return again when visiting friends in Metung

Great place to stay if you want to get away from the crowds but still close to Lakes Entrance, Metung etc. Fully fenced field and we shared it with responsible dog owners & lovely sociable humans & their gorgeous dogs 🥰. Very peaceful. Potable water to top up if you need it.

It’s hard to give a lot of feedback when we parked our van in an open paddock. We had a good view & the paddock was easy accessible.

Great location on the map.
Super easy access and check in and out. No real dramas at all.
That being said the actual camp is just a bare paddock, no shade and also runs directly along a semi busy road thats traffic noise is occasional but pronounced,
Would recommend for a caravan and to just have somewhere to sleep and be out during the day, little pricey for what it is.

Wonderful property, the type of people who stayed were awesome and the safety for our dog with the fencing was great.
The sunsets are to die for.
close to Bruthen then Omeo and beyond, Lakes Entrance and then Metung.
Bairnsdale for shopping if need be.
Cannot wait to stay again to visit friends and locations from the past.

Easy access but false advertising. Property and photo says 4 acres with access to the back paddock. But got asked to pack up and move to another small paddock first night in

Lovely open paddock, plenty of space for campers and flat. Was great to have other friendly campers whose dogs were nice and able to have ours off leash at times. Great location for exploring and fishing and good local facilities.

Loved the area it was such a beautiful spot, had the best time camping there with friends and family, the other campers around us were friendly and helped out when needed. Amazing view of the sun going down and very spacious. Overall we loved the stay and would love to stay there again some other time.

It’s only 15 minutes away from lakes entrance. The stars are very close to you during night time. It’s a nice site to stay.

We love the camping land, even though without any toilet. Calm and beautiful country scenery. By the way, there are public toilets 40secs away from the place.

This is a lovely spot especially if u have fur babies. Lots of space, potable water and close to everything. The host is very good with communication and adds that little bit extra. We forgot our firepit. She went and bought us one. Highly recommend.

What a great spot to stay
Stopped a week - quiet and peaceful
Lakes Entrance / Bairnsdale easy drive - made Swan Reach our base camp and went sightseeing from there
Others camping there but heaps of space and all campers were respectful re noise
Nearest dump point is Bullock Island at lakes.
Kookaburra's came to visit
Water available if needed
Friendly and accomodating hosts
Quick to reply to messages

This site is well situated to explore the region being half way between Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale. It is a peaceful spot ( apart from the Tueday night when the campers next to us raved all night with loud music) with good views and grassy sites. The morning shade is beautiful allowing us to relax and pass the time. There is plenty of room for each camp to spread out.
This is now on our list of HipCamps to return to.

Very private and great place to stay with friends just out of Lakes Entrance. We parked at the back of the paddock and couldn’t hear the road. Was lovely.

Great location, well maintained camp area and not too busy. (Roughly)20min to lakes entrance and 20min to Barnsdale makes it close enough to both locations but far enough away to not have camp on top of others.

Actually, I’m reluctant to give s as review, in case we can never get back here. All I can say is, thank you! This place is amazing. Chrissie was so responsive and answered all our questions immediately. We had 4 acres all to ourselves.. just out of town, within walking distance to the pub for dins. A million stars shone down on us, as we sat by our fire and enjoyed the rural views.
As we arrived, Ken from @kens ground control saw us and quickly popped over to mow the grass for us - talk about country hospitality- we were very humbled. We would highly recommend staying here, it’s been a very pleasurable stay to enjoy all this beautiful country has to offer. Thank you, Chrissie

The paddock was large enough to accommodate 6 sites still allowing plenty of space and privacy.
Great open space with views.
The grounds were mostly rutted. Hard to find grounds that are flat and free of cow dung for pitching a tent. After a night in wild weather, the host was kind enough to let us set up tent near the fish cleaning shed.
The ground was flat and well sheltered from the wind. My family loved the view and calmness of this spot. Many thanks.

Plenty of room for van or tents only 6 sites available on 4 acres but surrounded by land as far as the eye can see..easy gate in and out..not far to lakes entrance walk to the Swan reach pub (great old pub)plenty to do fishing in tambo River fishing or walking 90 mile Beach.. lakes great pubs and restaurants shops ect..if you dont like busy caravan parks its a very cheap way to do it..the owners were very helpful when ever we sent messages we had quick response..will return to this spot..we love swan reach and surrounding towns..do alot or do nothing ..cheers mark and cim..
