This property is set in rolling hill country across 117 acres. With a mixture of pasture and woodland, you have a choice of open sites with expansive views or more enclosed, private sites. The property features three dams (two of which are swimmable) and two seasonal waterways. Take a stroll across the farm and discover an abundance of wildlife, including kangaroos, deer, wallabies, and birds. You may also see the occasional echidna. Double Shot Farm includes a newly planted pine plantation and deciduous trees for beautification. There are plenty of private areas to get lost in and enjoy your own space, along with some truly stunning vistas. Double Shot Farm is close to the historic township of Omeo and within easy reach of Mount Hotham and Bright. It is the perfect base for exploring the Victorian High Country and is close enough for a day trip to the ski slopes. Enjoy an adrenaline-filled day at Omeo Mountain Bike Park, and visit one of the local cafés or pubs nearby. Double Shot Farm is the perfect place to relax and take in incredible sunsets. Pets are welcome and may be off-leash if under control. Double Shot Farm offers the perfect hunting experience in the surrounding region. Across the boundary fence and into the forest, sambar deer are prolific in this area. Note: Hunting on Double Shot Farm itself is not permitted. Please arrive with the expectation that you will be self-sufficient. Take memories and leave only footprints and vehicle tracks. Welcome to Double Shot Farm.

The Apex

The Apex is open to panoramic views overlooking the farm and neighbouring properties. This site is levelled and close to a stand of trees. This site provides amazing views or roughly 300 degrees. Low growing shrubs encompass the area with a very short walk to the grassy paddocks. From this site you can observe the kangaroos, wallabies, birds and maybe some deer. There is plenty of room suitable for a trailer tent, roof tent or maybe a small caravan up to 18 feet with a total levelled area of approximately 60 square metres. This site may get windy from time to time as it is exposed to the elements. Freshly levelled, this is a dirt pad therefore until the grass grows, it’s not suitable for tents.

The Pad, Site 2

The Pad is open to panoramic views overlooking the farm. This site is revegetating (minimal grass) and flat. From this site you can observe the kangaroos, wallabies, birds and maybe some deer. There is plenty of room to enjoy an expansive campsite. This site may get windy from time to time. Please not this site is close to the main shed and on the same pad as the shed and cabin.

The Peak, Site 1

This site is a levelled pad at the highest point on the farm. With elevated views its in full sun and perfect for watching the world go by. This area is often visited by wombats, wallabies and often our neighbours cattle on the other side of the fence. This site can be a little windy from time to time and is suited to motorhomes and caravans etc A quiet spot however it is on the access track with little to no traffic. Being close to the historical township of Omeo where you can obtain most supplies. Omeo is known for its river, mountain biking and exploration of old gold digging sites. you can dine out or grab a coffee. Not too far further up the Alpine way is Mount Hotham and beyond is the the beautiful town of Bright.
